You'll get a better experience somewhere else – It's been a few years since I was in a friend's wedding and this last weekend I had the chance to see another one tie the knot. We had a good time, but if I was in charge of the tuxedo rental portion I would have done things differently.

It started with an inattentive staff that were more interested in getting my friend to make his decision and get out, rather than helping two people with an important part of the wedding experience. It was honestly service more suited for the food court than a place handling formal wear.

Though my biggest complaint was the tuxedos themselves were really poor quality. The shirts felt a bit rubbery and were as big as a tent with no shape to them at all. The patent leather shoes we so uncomfortable I had to change into other ones at the reception. The shirt studs were cheap. And two of the Groomsmen had to get suspenders on the day of the wedding because the adjustable pants keep slipping to the biggest size - they were tired of continually having to pull their pants up during the pre-wedding pictures.

My pants were another issue. I was asked by the photographer to squat down for a picture and I heard a tear in my pants where the legs come together. When I returned the pants, they told me I had to replace the them because it was the fabric that ripped and not the seam. Sad thing is I'm not that big at 6 feet 200 pounds. So that was another $75 on top of the $150 I'd already spent.

4 years ago I was in another friend's wedding, we went to the Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul and it was a much better experience all around. Bottom line: if you want to be uncomfortable during the day, while being overcharged for the quality go here. But I think you'll get a better experience somewhere else.
