Lovely Merchandise, Horrible Business Practices – I've purchased several items at this store over the years, and after dealing with their limited return policy (within two weeks of purchase, store credit only, need receipts) and poor customer service, I've decided to stop shopping at Que Sera and Oh Baby! (owned by same person). Sure, they sell nice things, but they don't back up the quality and they act as if they're doing you a favor by allowing you to spend money on their overpriced merchandise.
I purchased pillowcases and sheets there, and after washing once per the instructions, they were fraying. The style was distressed, but this was a bit too distressed, especially at $80/case. When I took them back to the store, the clerk acted as if I was lying and had to call the owner in order to give me store credit. It took about 30 minutes for the whole process, and left me with a bad sentiment.
Another pillow sham I purchased there hasn't held up very well, either; the zipper is coming out. When I pay $50+ per item for linens, I expect them to be high quality and the customer service to match!
Join me in boycotting stores where customers have a mentality that high prices and snobby attitudes equate to quality.
Inspiring Home Furnishings! – Need some new lights for over the island. I wanted something interesting, modern but also hand-made looking. I found these hand blown wine casket pendants. Fantastic! They are relly large but clear and kind of organic looking. I have never seen anything so awesome!!!
Can't wait to do the branch fixture next for over the tub. Then maybe that Linen bedding with the raw edge??

SAVE yourself a HASSLE - DON"T BUY HERE – DO NOT BUY any special orders from this STORE - REALLY...but if you do make sure to get DETAILED paperwork on any orders and get EVERYTHING in writing.
We have brought our complaints to their attention and received little if no contact - daily phone calls would go unanswered, emails - unresponded, or we would get a "I am looking into that" or "I will call you back". It took a dispute resolution to finally get listened to... but over 18 months later we are still waiting for furniture issues to be resolved!
This is our story - I share so that you can learn:
The sales associate upgraded us to down fill without telling us (says they do that on all their furniture orders) and I am allergic to down feathers so obviously would not order down if asked; the sales associate said there would be no delivery charge (we battled with the owner for two months and still ended up paying $400); the sales associate did not tell us that a cushion could not be removed from a special order chair when the depth we wanted was with the cushion off - now they say we are stuck with a $3500 chair my husband can not even sit in comfortably; the sales associate sold us an Eddie West dining table for our main household table - it mares and shows water marks and writing marks... and we specicially asked for a durable table that wouldn't do this; we have also dealt with receiving completely mis-ordered furniture (and wrong chairs and wood type) and again had to battle to get reimbursed for return shipping on something we did not even order!!!
