Gross racist bartender. I never write reviews, but a friend and I went to Tom's last night to have a few beers and watch a football game. We sat at the bar and the man behind the bar was rude in taking our orders, he completely ignored my friend who is black twice while asking if I needed another drink and to top it off he would make sexual innuendos toward the younger female bartenders and right in front of us. For example as the girl bent over he stood behind her and motioned as if he were spanking her. She laughed awkwardly. Just gross.. grow up. Never coming back here and recommending that nobody else goes here either.
Excellent service and good food – This place had excellent service, reasonable price and good (decent) food. I will go back.
Tom's stinks – I really want to go to this bar more, great location, good food, cool atmosphere, friendly service... but it has to be one of the poorest ventilated bars in STL. You are guaranteed to reek like stale cigarettes after 30 minutes inside. Too bad.
Great food! – This is where my parents re-kindled their love. It's a great neighborhood bar with decent food and good beer. Lots of medical people due to proximity to BJC.
Good Bar FOOD – Prompt service. Good bar food. Buffalo Chicken Sandwhich highly recommended. Good portion sizes. GREAT ketchup.
Best Chicken Wings in Town (HOT) – I see there hasn't been a review since June 2006, and I can't disagree with that guy more. The Bar food is excellant and the place gets very crowded so get there early if you want to watch your favorite team. The atmosphere is perfect with that old town tavern look up front and a ski lodge in the restaurant area with a Large fireplace and huge skylite in the ceiling. They have there own parking lot for Tom's customers so it's also convienent. The beer is the coldest in town and the servers are friendly and nice to look at. The best sports bar in the Central West End.
Editorial Review – Fill up on burgers, wings and beer, catch the game on one of seven TVs, or stop in for karaoke.
Tom's – Good bar to sit back and chill in front of a TV. Waitresses are hot and it's almost never crowded. The food, however, is absolutely terrible!! Eat somewhere else first!
Good bar food – I've been to Tom's a couple times now, and it's had consistently good bar food and COLD BEER! Good place to hang out and catch a game!
7 – Good sports bar atmosphere . Good basic food. Wide variety of people.
