We were trading in a 4-year old Subaru for a new 2010 Toyota Venza that had already been marked down about $2,000. I was braced for getting a low-ball offer for our car, since the discount had already been taken on the floor model. I was pleasantly surprised by a fair offer and minimal (1 time) back-and-forth to the manager. The entire experience was relatively quick and totally painless. I did not feel like I had been manipulated or cheated.
I have been with this company for several years. There have been a few instances where e we have had a need that has taken a few calls to get that need met, a non- emergency. However the front desk staff along with the entire staff as a whole has really helped my family any time we have needed help.I have referred and will continue to reefer family and friends.

Meghan was friendly and courteous. When I stopped in, I just wanted to sit in a few vehicles and get the feel. I had never owned a Toyota. I informed her that I didn't want to feel pressured and she certainly respected my request. I appreciated the way she presented herself and her desire to be of service. She accepted a cell phone call from me on her day off. She went above and beyond to be of service and in answering my questions, etc. She clearly explained all the features on the Corrola. I did not have this same experience with the purchase of my last car.
Dave in the financial departent was equally professional.
I bought my first Toyota (a Camry XLE) in 2004 from Ackerman Toyota and found it to be an excellent car. I never had any service issues. I do use Ackerman's Service Department for oil changes and routine service and have nothing but high praise for them. The customer waiting area is always kept very clean, and stocked with fresh coffee,donuts and magazines. The service managers greet you immediately upon arrival, have always been friendly, cheerful and very helpful. I've even had occasion to speak to service technicians who also display the same friendly, helpful attitude and are very knowledgable.
Recently I had been thinking about trading in for a new Camry. I received an offer in the mail (just prior to the St. Louis Auto Show weekend) that sounded too good to be true--triple rebates, 0% financing, high trade in value. I decided to go in and see what kind of offer I could get. Four hours later, I drove home in my new 2011 Camry XLE! Tom Finder, the Sales Consultant who greeted me as I stepped out of my car, made the whole process a very pleasant and stress-free experience. I never felt pressured, and if Tom was in doubt, or didn't know the answer to any of my questions immediately, he checked and got the correct answer for me (although he does know his stuff and I didn't stump him on much!). I felt he gave me a very fair deal, explained everything very clearly and took extra steps to make sure both my husband and I understood everything and that he had disclosed every possible detail. I would definitely recommend Tom and the dealership to anyone.
Excellent service, upfront, nothing hidden. Firm has been in business for over 50 years and my experience indicates why they are still in business today.
Have not used their service to date but family and friends are very satisfied with the dealer.
Our Ackerman Toyota experience with a new car purchase was excellent. Meghan Jesberg, our salesperson, was a delight to work with & was friedly, very knowlegeable & helpful, throughout the process. It was painless for us. We believe we purchased a good car at a good price.
I have bought many new cars over the years (4 in just the last 2 years), but have never had such a pleasant experience as I had with Ackerman. This is first time in all my experiences that the salesperson was completely honest and upfront about everything. (I do extensive research before buying a car, so I already know the numbers). This is also the first time I did not have to haggle about the price. The price Rebeccah quoted for the new car was excellent and the price given for my trade-in was very fair. I checked Ford, Chevrolet, Kia, Hyundai, other Toyota dealers, etc, and this was the most car for the money of any other brand or dealer. The business manager Dave was also very good to deal with.
Bought a Scion FR-S from Matt Endres at Ackerman. Both Matt and Ackerman were great to work with. Best car buying experience I've had.
