Quick and painless - yet still relaxing!! – I got a bikini wax here for the first time - and everything was wonderful. The staff is extremely welcoming - not stuffy at all! Dawn did my wax and she was wonderful! I highly reccomend this salon if you are looking for a good place to go for first-timers!
I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, but at the same time I was able to relax in the calm environment Ginger Bay provides.
Definitely worth the money!
Wonderful! – I have gone to Ginger Bay for 6 years now and i love my hair stylist Corrine and my waxer Galina. You could NEVER go wrong w/those two wonderful women!
User review by pier1 – I wasn't happy with my haircut and she wasn't educated in a blowdry at all.
Focus on relaxation rather than your nails at this casual spa. – The Scene
If you think of a trip to the spa as an indulgent pastime of Stepford wives, think again, at least in this case. The space is light and airy, with light green walls and laid-back staff members. Ginger Bay's all about rejuvenation, helping clients unify body, mind and spirit through body and mind treatments.
Wellness treatments include massage, hydrotherapy, salt glows and signature spa services. But don't assume it's all about inward beauty: Ginger Bay also offers a full range of beauty services. Waxing, haircuts and color (the spa is also an Aveda salon), manicures, pedicures, facials, vitamin C treatments and makeup tutorials are only a few of the options.
Best massage ever! – I went with my sister and cousin for massages prior to my sister's wedding. It was amazing! The massage was incredible--these are true professionals and experts. You are pampered from start to finish. My sister wanted to move in to their bathroom! She actually said it was the best hour of her life. I have been to top salons and this tops them all. I am counting the days until I go back.
Relax, Rejuvenate, Revive – You don't have to spend the whole day or a fortune to have a wonderful experience in relaxation & rejuvenation to revive yourself. From a simple express shiatsu (clothes on massage) for $45 to an indulgence of a tandem massage (2 therapist working on you simultaneously ending in a hot towel treatment) for $150. Shed the stresses of everyday life. I recommend a facial and an aromatherapy massage (a $140 and a couple of hours well spent!)
Love this place!!! – I've been searching for a spa where I could get a great pregnancy massage and I found it @Ginger Bay. This was incredible. They have the special foam bolsters that allow you to lay comfortably on your stomach up until ~28 wks. These people know customer service!! Everyone went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The relaxation room is, well, very relaxing, and the fireplace is a nice touch in the winter. Treatment rooms are inviting, although mine was a little cold (which was no problem once I got on the massage table and covered up). They have unique services and a helpful and knowledgable staff. Highly recommend!
