3 months no contact from them and no product received – I placed my order in good faith on May 5h. They never sent me any info. I contacted thm after 6 weeks to check the status of my order and was told I could receive a refund because they were busy. I decided to give them more time. I waited 6 more weeks no product , no word from them. Finally cancelled order. waisted 3 months on an order I never received. Rip off. poor customer service.
Horrible Experience – My husband and I went to Blueberry Hill for the first time this past weekend and were more than highly disappointed. I ordered fetticini and have honestly had better tasing fetticini in frozen TV dinners. My husband got the fish and chips and was no more impressed. The staff was very tacky dressed and not shall we say very well groomed. The building itself was run down, paint chipping off the walls, terrible bathrooms. We will not be back.
Sweet server, delicious food, fun atmosphere. – I went to Blueberry Hill on my last evening in St. Louis. The loop resembles the Arts District in Columbus, OH called the "Short North." The loop is more of an entertainment district and more expansive , however. I went in around 9 p.m. on Thursday. I felt like breakfast, which they serve all the time! I had their biscuits and gravy. The plate arrived with a nice, liberal amount of both, very tasty. I loved my server, who was a very friendly young lady with strawberry blonde to red hair. The light was dim, which added to the nice atmosphere. I loved all the Elvis, Chuck Berry and music memorabila and all the toys and games encased in glass. Her service was very prompt and attentive. I then had a small dessert of ice cream with blueberry topping, very nice! My server was kind enough not only to take my picture when I requested, but she took one with me and her, this picture I will always treasure. The prices were also very reasonable. The next time, I will definitely try their hamburger and blueberry pie, maybe even see Chuck Berry! I really hope to get the same server, she was wonderful! This is one reason I will need to go to St. Louis again. The location, right on the most interesting and educational walk of fame also makes it a great stop.
all hype, no delivery – Went here for the first time a few months ago for my anniversary. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. With all the hype, I thought it would be a good place to go. That's what it is, all hype. It was very busy, and we were stuck in a back room where the dart leagues play. The service was ok, there was only one guy working that room there at the time, and he did the best he could. Food was way substandard. Almost all local fastfood chains have better burgers. I also thought the decor would be a bit more fun and historical, but everything was rather dark and dingy. The place seems more of a tourist trap than a eclectic old St. Louis tradiiton. I would never go back.
The best burger?!?!? – (Grade C for the food; A+ for the live music and juke box)
Although I love the place, the food really isn't that great. Even though they're cooked at a typical weight, the burgers always seem small. To get what you typically want on a burger, you've got to add another $1.00 on top of the $5.00 or so that it is on its own. Keep in mind that this is just for the burger (you're paying for the atmosphere). If you want fries, it's another few bucks. Often times, the fries are the best thing of the meal. I mistakenly ordered the "homemade" chili with my meal sometimes, and I'm reminded how the chili is probably the most overpriced thing on the menu (about $3 for a "cup"). It has very little texture to it, and it's very bland. For effect, pieces of cheese are sprinkled on top.
As I said earlier, I love the place, but the meals can get expensive quickly if you and a date get a burger, fries, and a beer. The RFT burger battle usually pits the Blueberry burger against the Culpepper burger; for my money, I would have to say that the Culpepper burger is far superior (and you get fries with it)
Average at best – Their burgers are not "the best" but they are just average, nothing to really gloat about...prices are fairly cheap. Servers are generally rude so I just avoid the place all together. I would recommend the place to grab a few beers and people watch but that's about it. They do have really good/greasy onion rings.
How in the hell!? – How in the hell did Hardee's rate #1?! To many people drunk or baked drove, to Hardee's because BB-Hill was closed late, ordered a "Thick-Monster-Triple-Stack-Thunder-Grease-Jumper-Milllion-Pounder burger" and swallowed it in one bite (tasty right?). Then drove home & got on the Internet! Do/Can people really taste their food anymore?
GREAT Burger, Beer, Bar, Staff Stuff to look at! – This place has it all. First of all the Burgers are to die for! I've seen that some of the reviews on here are saving "overpriced" but I think those folks are thinking of fast food. The prices here are like that same as at Steak n Shake. Here you get great burgers cooked anyway you want them. Like a million beers to choose from and good STRONG drinks from the Bar. Plus this place is HUGE! like the size of 2 or 3 other resturants.Play Darts, See a Show (Maybe even Chuck Barry). The staff is great and laid back (they can wear whatever they want which means you get to see "all types"). GO THERE NOW! It's Great!
Found no thrills here!!!!!!!! – I was extremely disappointed! There was no where to be where you weren't in someone's way. Taking into consideration that it was a busy night, the staff was rude save one gentleman who was busing tables and informed us that table service ended at 9pm (we arrived at 9:05)--a point not made to us when entering, by the guy checking our IDs. After searching for a table for about 10-15 min., we were directed to a lengthy line and a lady in a booth with a calculator taking orders. We were given a number and expected to hear it shouted through the restaurant over punk rock music and other customers chatting. After not hearing our number called and waiting the suggested 25 min., I went to check the "window by the kitchen" and found our food. It was cold, dry and just nasty in general, not to mention overpriced.
Blueberry Hill is the BEST! – I don't know what's wrong with these people who vote on here, but Blueberry Hill is by FAR the best burger around. Juicy and flavorful, its a great place to eat, but don't bring your 3 year old there!
