Love, Love, Love it! – Everyone at Cary's is friendly and competent. You could go to any of the stylists and get a great cut and/or color.
I've seen Paige, Meghan and Connie and all are great!
I feel like I'm getting pampered when I go there. And, don't we all need to feel that way every now and then?

Great stylist and always friendly front staff – I have been going to Cary O'briens for a few years now and have never had a complaint. Everyone is so nice and they listen to exactly what I am looking for.
Maybe the best salon I've been to! – I loved my experience at Cary O'brien's. I'm new to the St. Louis area and thought it was a little far to drive out to St. Charles. I was so wrong. Cary O'brien's is worth the drive which turned out only to be 20 minutes anyways. The stylist, Jen, did a great job of explaining how we should get my hair healthy again (I'm kind of blonderexic). She also told me the price up front before starting any services. She was professional, friendly and did a great job with my hair. I can't wait to go back and see her again! I'd recommend Cary O'brien's to everyone I know.
How EVERY salon experience should be! – Having lived in over twelve different homes in the last four years I have seen my share of salons. Everywhere from London, England to Las Vegas. Never have I had such a wonderful salon experience in my life. EVERYONE was friendly, Jennifer my stylist, took the time to explain what she was going to do and what everything would cost. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of or that they were trying to over sell me at every turn. The staff is very knowledgeable and it shows. While waiting for my hair to process, I had the owner come over and chat as well as the stylist next me. It was nice to not be ignored, like in most salons. You get what you pay for by choosing a master, a trainee or someone in between. My hair turned out better than I thought!
Best massage and facial! – I bought a groupon to use here and I wasn't expecting much since it was discounted, but I needed a massage and added a facial as well.
Howeever, the girls here took really great care of me! The massage thereapist Jennifer was excellent, took her time to explain what to expect and told after I told her about my low back pain she said she could spend more time on it. It felt great and she knows how to give deep work!
My facial was done by a new girl there, Kylie who did an great job and showed me some products for my skin (the anti aging stuff by dermalogica).
All in all I was impressed by their services and knowledge and I can't wait to go back!
Never again – I used to love Carry O'Briens, so much that I brought 3 new clients with me when I went on my wedding day. Out of 4 of us only one got what they wanted. I did not have a trial done on my hair because it was only to be curled and the veils put in. This is something that anyone who does hair should be able to do. Well, my veils were put in wrong and upside down, and the curls fell before I even got home. (I only live 15min away.) We also had to redo 2 of my bridesmaids hair when we got home. I called a couple of days later to let them know I was upset and though I had not had a trial on my hair, a lot of the mess ups seemed to be rookie mistakes and I had expected better. They didn't have anything to say, not I'm sorry nothing. Holly in the spa is amazing but I will never go back after I saw the lack of customer service. May I recommend Studio Branca?
AM I CHOPPED LIVER – I have been going to Cary O'Briens for 6 years now and paying full price. I have seen Cary on occasion and a few other girls over the years. Recently my friend (who will remain nameless) had gotten an email that said Cary would do her hair for FREE for several visits because her stylist left and I guess this was their desperate attempt to get her back in their salon. This really upset me that they would value a person that does not even go there anymore. They should value the clients they have and give them a discount(especially in this economy). This was a very bad business move. Here is some advise: remove your head from your *** take a breath of fresh air and you will get far my friend.
Best experience ever – I heard Cary speak at Day Break a retreat I attended and liked what I heard so I thought I would give them a try. I went on the training night. That's the night Cary trains the new girls. I was a bit anxious to have a newbe but I have not like my hair for a bit so why not.
The stylist they gave me was Blair something. She started wiith A LOT of questions I thought just for a cut and color. After we talked she excused herself and came back with Cary. They went through the conversation againg and told me what they were going to do. I did feel better knowing that she was being watched over.
I got highlights and a color something, never had the color something before. Looked good.
The cut was different also, used thinning scissors and my hair now has the bounce I have been looking for.
I thouhgt Cary ran on a bit and talked alot but while Blair was mixing the color we talked and he told me how the consultation is the most over looked part of the visit and that they train more on it than almost anything else. I love my cut and color and made another appointment with Blair.

Loved Connie – Connie was awesome! I love my new do! I even got to meet Cary. Although he is quite opiniated, it was still nice to meet him and hear his feedback. I will definitely go back to Connie.
snob city – i have been going to carys for a couple of years seeing one girl. My girl apparently decided to go somewhere else and instead of the staff letting me know they just put me with someone else with out my knowledge.. funny thing not too much later she left too then another and another. obviously the owner is doing something wrong but if you read his "ramblings" it's there own fault?! does he not take any responsibility himself? well mr. obrien obviously the grass IS greenier on the other side! so my advice,,, find somewhere else to go because it wont be long and your girl will be gone but it will be there own fault and nothing to do with the way things are ran there.. stupidity is humorous!
