Planetarium: Solar System Tour – My friend and I thought this would be something interesting for our kids, ranging in age from 7 to 13. Oy vey! This is just a basic 40 minute factual overview of the solar system. So, if you are looking for a fascinating solar show, skip it, as this rates low on the entertainment spectrum. In fact, it was sooo boring, that the person behind us was even snoring half way through the show. It reminded me of a slideshow lecture from college, and very much lacking in 21st century technology. How I wish I could get back the $18 I paid for the three of us to get in, so that we could go see a movie at AMC instead.

This miniature city lets kids step into adult roles and learn about biology, physics and history along the way. – Overview
This learning center takes the fun approach to education. It's split up into five districts where children can train for a space mission, become an investigator in a crime lab and design a robot. The town crier announces live demonstrations as he marches up and down the city streets.

The Experience
The Pop Wheelie's Delivery Service always has the longest line. It's a solo bike ride across a tightrope that teaches kids to use their science smarts 30 feet above the ground. The City Extreme Screen Theater has a five-story screen that shows both two- and three-dimensional images. There's also live theater and a domed theater that captivates kids with lasers and sound effects. Everything from seafood and caramel apples to telescopes and shot glasses are found in the city's eateries and shops.
