Tips for Club Oasis
NOT an Oasis in KC.
This club is a dangerous experience. My first thought while my friends and I were being frisked and wanded with a metal detector was "What are we getting into.."
Once inside, there were several fights. The guy/girl ratio was horrible (roughly 10:1 guys to girls) and I was told that this was normal.
The drink prices were a little high, but to be fair...were average.
After enduring this place for about an hour, we decided to head elsewhere. When we were walking out the door, there were gunshots from across the street as well as a homeless guy throwing up by the front door. The police arrived shortly after the shots were heard and from what I could see...took about 4 people to jail.
By the way, the "Officinto" (or whatever it was) on the corner by the Oasis that poses as a resturaunt is awful.
Stay clear of this place....it is a dangerous and uncontrolled area after hours.
Fun Club!. This is a very enjoyable club if you like to participate in the local Hispanic community. They have a great staff, very good security and a lot of fun people to meet. Get up & get down to Club Oasis and meet new friends and enjoy the music. A very well operated club.
