anytime is open. great burgers, and good music, the place is safe, I am glad they are going to have latin music this saturday, lets go there and practice salsa and spanish

Okay. I tihnk this place is not very good. The food was bad the day I went and service just stinks. Maybe they had a bad day or something not sure. But drinks are okay! Hopefully for who ever they have a good day at the bar!

Students and alumni mingle at University of Missouri-Kansas City's unofficial hangout.. The Scene
UMKC students and alumni congregate at this concrete dive. There's a wooden bar or red vinyl-covered booths. Johns Belushi and Lennon and a giant moose head preside over the crowd from red-and-black walls. Two televisions hang over the bar with a big-screen in the back corner, while 14 more broadcast different events. When a show is on the small stage, dart players will have their backs to the music, but sanctuary lies in an adjoining room with pool tables and Golden Tee.

The Draw
There's nothing fancy, just a standard selection of nine domestics on tap and 20 in bottles, plus imports like Heineken and Amstel for good measure. Exotic tastes may order a cocktail from the full bar. Food is served in huge quantities: burgers weighing a half-pound, the loaded quesadillas can't weigh much less, and spicy buffalo wings are the actual whole wings.

after class happy hour. mike's is very convenient for me and a lot of my friends. it's right across the street from rockhurst university, classes get over around2 or after labs at 5 or 6 and Mike's is a great place to sit down, relax, and unwind from the crapc chemistry classes. Drink specials are great, and burgers are delicious. The pool tables aren't ideal, but in good enough shape to play a few rounds.

Great Dive. This is a great dive! But the food is so so! The live music isn't bad. I would say this place is a great starter bar or if you want to get down and dirty. I would only go there to drink!

Mike's is Mike's...Amen. Mike's is Mike's, thank God!! You can see the kitchen and it looks clean to me. The bathroom (mens) seems pretty clean too, compared to some other popular joints in town. Oh my God.... It's on Troost! Hold on.... Westport and the Plaza are safer....Please! Anyway check it out for yourself instead of relying on these important reviews!

HOT CHICKS. I had soooo much fun at Mike's last night. I've been there a few times but I'm going to make it my new hang out. Cheap drinks, great food and the bartenders rock!!! Chicks aren't bad to look at either.

Swappin!. I was at Mike's the other day, just hang'n with four friends (students like me). In walks TWO of my prime Profs. After an hour of acting like we didn't see each other, we ended up swapping ideas, stories and beers! This place is the first place I've ever rated. I feel slutty, but good! Mike's rocks!

ROO Bad. I went to UMKC and I think they need to find a new hang out! The prices for the drinks are not bad. The food was a little below par for me. Never statyed there long enough to hear live music. Don't even start me on those nasty bathrooms.

Not Very good. I just finshed UMKC and have been to Mikes many times. I have never found it a good place too eat or listen to music. If you want to drink it is a good place. I would start there and then go some where else. I too do not think the place is very clean!
