These guys are the best. Took my Honda in for a noise. Turns out it's a transmission issue. Francisco was very upfront about it and explained everything to me. I decided to hold off due to the holidays. It was no charge and he even washed my car!! He has a new loyal customer.
Our experience with Francisco's is always top notch. Francisco's team know how to properly diagnose problems and get them fix right the first time. We have taken our car and van to them for years and we feel well taken care of, like Family.
Francisco does good work, at a fair price, in a timely manner, and doesn't upcharge after the initial quote. He is thorough and easy to work with, and I recommend him. He redid the air on my Odyssey at a much better price than the dealer.
As a single mom of two in a very tough economy, I was fortunate enough to come across Francisco's Auto Repair. My brakes were in bad shape. I called on the phone to get a quote and was immediately comfortable talking with their personal about my automotive problems (I actually got the big boss on the phone, Francisco himself). He gave me an extremely competitive quote and made me feel that there was a big trust factor that I didn't have to overcome. I made an appointment and was ushered in already feeling like they were part of my family. Not only did they show me what was wrong with my car, they explained everything in detail which is very important to a woman of minimal knowledge regarding car issues. They took me home and picked me up to boot. Wow!
Not only did Francisco's take care of me with the best service and pricing I could hope for, I walked out of there knowing that I can refer them to everyone I know with the confidence that they will be treated like family with great service.
Renee provided me with quality service. I drove in super worried with a wobbling wheel that i was sure was going to abandon me and shoot for the hills.... Francisco's Auto Repair was the first Car shop that I saw, took no chance and drove in.
The Car shop was quite a surprise. Quint and smaller than the local larger Franchise's I am used to. They got my car fixed, for the amount we agreed upon and they even let me pick it up three days later according to a time that was best suited for me.
Overall, trully excellent customer service. I would recommend this Car Shop to anyone. Great Job RENEE!! You got me sold and I will be back :-)
I had trouble with my CD changer. Rene Chanfreau was nice enough to contact my car extended warranty company to get this covered. They worked on it while I waited. Works perfectly.
Great service in the past also. Plan to return for more service.
The Saab dealerships in Orange County went out of business and they do great work on my Saab.

Never Again – so awhile back after reading all these amazing reviews about Francisco's Auto Repair. I took my Honda S2000 to him. I was throwing a code for a misfire. I am not completely helpless when it comes to a wrench. So I immediately swapped out spark plugs and then ignition coils and then fuel injectors. still no improvement. I was then beginning to think it was a more serious problem. I took it in specifically requested a compression test and a valve adjustment. I told them the problems I was having and what I had done so far. He was quick to let me know unless I had replaced everything with factory parts he wasn't interested in playing with it. (I had) so he took it in. worked on it for a few hours and gave it back. He gave me the results of the compression test and told me that the numbers were horrible but after the valve adjustment everything returned to normal. This really confused me because a valve adjustment would accomplish none of this, and the numbers he gave me for the results made no sense also. Oh and to top it off he informed me he had replaced everything I had with the original parts that were in my trunk. At this point I was completely lost maybe he knew something I didn't? I paid the man still confused. got in my car and drove off. At this point my check engine light was off. FINALLY fixed cool. Maybe three min later it came back on. Now I'm pissed. I then take it to a certified Honda tech. He does the compression test right in front of me. All crap. So now what the hell... We do a leak down test and my head is shot. So something that is relatively auto-shop 101 He screwed up. I actually have no idea what he did. I wouldn't bring my bicycle to this fool.
I Don't Trust Anyone Else!!! – I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years. I have travelled to Francisco's from Orange, Newport Beach and even when I lived in Phoenix because I don't trust anyone else. My Toyota Prius recently had several dashboard warning lights appear. 3 to be exact. A check engine light, a bright exclamation point in a red traingle and the worst of all, a hybrid system failure light. I've had 2 Prius's so I know Francisco's has Tech's that are specially hybrid vehicle trained. After diagnosing the problem Francisco informed me that he was taking my car to the dealership for warranty repair. I am so glad I had Francisco as my advocate. With his contacts and extensive knowledge I saved over $2500!!!!!! Francisco even gave me a free loaner. I'll never go anywhere else.
Finally an Honest Repair Shop!!!!! – I thought my car needed some work on brakes according to one of those chain repair stores. I went to Francisco to get a second opinion recommended by a trusted friend.
Francisco did an oil change which included a free brake check.
After a quick conversation once my car was done, he said it didn't need brakes. I asked him again because, that other place said I did and that sounded odd to me.
He then raised the car, took off the tire and personally showed me it didn't need it. He saved me from spending 300 dollars I didn't need to. He gained a customer for life. Since then, I've needed a few basic repairs but, I know for a fact I needed every one of them. How do I know? Francisco said so! Honest repair shops are hard to find so, I'm glad I found this one!
