The artists are amazing, they are all creative and do wonderful work. The customer service is repulsive though, and I will not be returning. After a comment on Twitter, the owner of the shop called me racist (!!!) and banned me from the shop. I then got emails, texts, and tweets from 4 of the artists that work there being extremely rude. I have been going to this shop for years and made friends with a lot of the artists. When the owner got upset over a debate regarding Trayvon Martin he then called me racist- on Twitter, in front of his 17K followers! That is so inappropriate and offensive. Considering that I am white and I go to a black tattoo shop and have a black tattoo artist, this was especially confusing and ridiculous. The following tweet said that he would like to pay a woman to "slap this bitch in her mouth" when I confronted him about calling me racist. I am shocked at how unprofessional these people are after years of loyalty. I will not be returning to COI, but if you don't mind being discriminated against if you're white, then I must admit that the artists are incredibly talented. Frank is by far the most creative artist I have ever interacted with and I am very sad to no longer be able to have work done by him.
