Review for Laguna Hills Estate – I bought a home here in April of 2010 and moving from Moreno Valley to here is a dream come true. This mobile home park is kept up and very safe. Most of all the management are the nicest people. I so recommend this place to live. We're 8 miles from the beach, the schools are wonderful they rate 9 out of 10. The people are not ghetto like in the IE.The air is clean. The shopping is so close. This is so much better then an apartment or renting a house. No matter where you live you have utilities. My home is almost 1600 sq ft. 4 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms, with a garage, back yard, and a quiet neighborhood .The taxes on my home are less then $500 a year. I agree thank goodness for the rules, it makes me feel proud when every one keeps there property kept up and clean. Proud to live in Laguna Hills Estate. The only thing I wish is that the management would leave the Xmas lights in the entrance up all year long, they look so beautiful.
LHE is OK by me! – Compared to other mobile home parks, LHE is an OK park. Managers patrol the park to keep us residents safe and to keep the community looking nice. People don't get thrown out because of minor problems, they get notices because they fail to follow the established rules and regulations of the park. Thank goodness for the rules or else we would have tinfoil in people's windows, weeds in yards 3 feet tall, homes in disrepair, junk surrounding the home looking like "typical trailer trash". Is the park perfect? Of course not, but its better than living in an apartment or elsewhere where lowlifes surround you. Some of the assertions made in some of these blogs are blatantly false. I know because I've lived here for nearly 7 years now. And as for Blue Lion splitting the profits with people, that is totally untrue and said by someone ill-informed. Anybody looking to buy in LHE needs to know the facts from both sides of the bench and made an informed decision and not just to the ill informed malcontents.
$1200 a month for space rent. – Nothing is included in the $1200 space rent. Residents must also pay water, trash, sewer, and cable on top of space rent, mortgage, insurance, property tax, and utilities.
Clubhouse hours are very limited during the week. Closed weekends and holidays.
Pool only heated Memorial Day - Labor Day. No car wash, storage, or children's play area.
Space rent has gone up every year 6% and can be raised up to 12% every year.
Some of the newer homes have garages, safe location, close to schools, malls, and transportation.
