GOOD place to eat, drink, and hangout – Twilight has two happy hours- 7 days a week. The BUCK HUNTER game is only .50 cents a treck! Video pocker plays are well taken care of. You'll find it Clean and Cool. i recomend a visit
Way cooler than one would expect for that location – Upon entering you first get the feel of a 50's diner complete with lunch counter and black/white tile. Then you see the lottery machines, pinball machines (including Bick Buck Hunter and Golden Tee). There is a smaller room to the left for bands. It's ideally too small for a band with more than 3 members, but they had 3 great bands in their lineup that night and everyone had a lot of fun! The place is super clean, the bathrooms large and clean and the service was stellar. They serve breakfast as well and have a happy hour from 7 to 9 am even. We are going back for breakfast sometime soon. Thanks to Bill and Amy who were working that night and were top notch servers. I love finding a gem of a place like this where one is not expected!
Wow - that was sadly horrible – Saturday morning.
We're only one of two tables.
Drunk (tweeking?) guy at bar dancing for us and randomly yelling at us:
"I'm playing shuffle board on the counter!"
"Do you have a nickle?!"
I think the waitress was dating him, she didn't seem to want to stop him. I finally had to ask him to leave us along and then we had to listen to him talk shi* about with the waitress.
Coffee tasted like burnt popcorn.
My "scramble" consisted of a pile of veggies under a sheet of flat egg. You know, like the flat egg they serve you at burger king?
My husband had some chicken fried steak that was coated in fish batter and fried. It tasted like fish :-(
Although we have never done this before, we told the waitress we were leaving. She threw up her hands and said "whatever! Have a nice day" in a really snide voice.
My husband told me I was never allowed to pick out another restaurant again.
New Ownership! The Twilight is BACK! – New owners took over once again in January '08. Man, in just a few short months they have REALLY cleaned the place up. Some old familiar faces are back in the kitchen, the food is FANTASTIC and THE PRICES CAN'T BE BEAT! The bartenders/waitstaff are more friendly than ever. Great happy hour from 3-7pm M-F $2.50 well drinks and great prices on beer. Zach is packing the place every Friday & Saturday night with awesome live bands! New big screen TV's, jukebox and PINBALL. This place rocks!!!
Bargain Breakfast with Booths – My new favorite weekend breakfast spot. Never busy. All booths. Good prices. Good times!
Saddle up for some good cheap drinks & grub – This place is indeed a best kept secret breakfast spot! Been in many times and no wait at all. Immediate, prompt service everytime...even if just going in for a drink. They consistently pour strong drinks usually doesn't matter who serves you w/ the exception of 1 to 2 of the staff there. Morning guys usually are the best. Try the Bloody Mary's you won't be disappointed. Drinks and food are cheap..cheap...cheap! Food portions huge and mixed drinks are strong. Some of the staff know how to throw on some really good tunes. Lots of regulars in there saddled up to the bar so when the drinks get flowing it makes for a lively scene of drunken babbelery! Be warned though this place is smokey, only downside for me! This is a great place to eat and drink moreso than for a music venue.
Good Food, Clear Drinks! – Went there to see Rokopolis on a Friday night. The food and drinks were amazing. I had a bacon-cheeseburger and the lady had chicken strips and fries. The burger was McMenamins quality and the fries were decent. The chicken was good too. The drinks were very cheap and strong. I want to go back on a Tuesday night for poker.
what a hassle man i went to see my favorite metal nu war band b.i.t.s. and the sound guy kept messing with there sound and i talked to them later and the owner said that his club is just not a hard rock club. but thats how they advertise themselves. so if you want to hear some good hard rock dont go to the twilight its only for wimpy wimpy bands that play polliticly corect rock or show tunes or what every the're booking in there now.
Solid neighborhood breakfast spot – Love the breakfasts heretheyre super cheap and the portions are gigantic. Swing by the morning after, particularly if you live nearby. Awesome value.
