gem on lombard. i adore the servers here so much, and their food is just as adorable! small, classy, awesome menu, and anyone there is welcome. good times, everytime. long wait on weekends tho so don't come too hungry!

Citysearch Editorial Review. Bleary-eyed college students, NoPo professor types and tattooed twenty-somethings watch eagle eyed for tables to clear during the Sunday brunch at this impossibly small North Lombard Street cafe. On weekdays, regulars pedal by for creatively dressed egg sandwiches served on fresh baked ciabatta bread; the clever names like the Flat Tire and The Messenger rightly pay homage to the bike commuter crowd. On Sunday, these standbys give way to heaping breakfast platters of buttermilk biscuits and rosemary mushroom gravy and Pumpkin Monte Cristo French toast washed down with bottomless cups of Courier French Press coffee.

Mmmmm.... Good.... A transformation from the little coffee shop that used to serve bagel sandwiches in the morning... This place is fantastic! I frequent this location a couple times a month, have had a few different things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Sometimes they even make their own delicious ice cream!! Double Salted Carmelled Bacon Ice Cream anyone? In an espresso cup, please :)
