The store is a little spendy but super cute and organized. the staff was very helpful and nice. I loved all the little sparkly thing i got there.
Great store, great customer service! – I had a special order with New & Blue and I can't begin to say enough wonderful things about them. They made it SO EASY to select and order the PERFECT invitations for my wedding! The staff was great to work with, very knowledgeable about the products they carried, were able to answer all of my questions and the invites were exactly what I wanted!
When I had to follow up with their customer service regarding adding to the order, they were more than accomodating and really helpful. In addition, I had some items to return and found their return policy to be very generous (unlike a previous reviewer), especially considering many stores only allow returns within 7 days.
I can't say enough positive things about this store...truly a Portland treasure!
Got our wedding invitations in a week! – Free champagne and lots of wedding invitations. We needed something that wasn't expensive and we needed them fast. They customized our design and got them done in a week.
The customer is never right. – I visited this store in May to purchase a few items for my wedding. Long story short, the wedding was cancelled and I called to see if there was anything they could do about returning my purchases since they were past the return policy. At first, they said yes, but only for store credit. The wedding is cancelled, like I want store credit to a wedding shop!
So the gal I spoke with talked with her manager and said they would make an exception. I then went into the store and when she asked for the card I paid with, I let her know my card had been updated by the bank. She again went back to the manager and came back saying she would still have to return it to store credit.
Completely upset, I wrote an email to the store. The owner replied and provided many excuses, but in a nut shell was saying that I, as the customer, was in the wrong. But they would go out of their way to help me if I would provide a statement from the bank. Sorry, they shouldn't haven't asked for that. PCI laws, and accusing me of lying is not a way to win back a customer. They should have let it drop and returned it without. That's great customer service. Being a retailer, by this point, you even throw in something extra just to try to make the customer happy.
Overall, I would never recommend this store. It is overpriced for what you get and God help you if plans change. They are not in it to help you on your happiest day and there are many other vendors out there that will support you in this. Retailers are fighting for business and this store is sitting on the bench. Scratch this one off the list to go to.
