Oasis in Stressful Times – This place is beautiful and their prices are reasonable. It is an oasis for comfort and renewal in a stressful time of financial uncertainty. Go relax and have a cup of tea!
Great nail techs extremely RUDE owner – I have been going to this place for about more than a year now.
The nail technicians are great. Some can't speak English well but they always do a great job. However, the owner/guy in charge, is extremely rude especially when there is a complaint. I had to wait 30 mins twice even though I had an appointment with a specific nail technician. When I told that I had an appointment and there is a reason for appointments, he didn't pay attention at all and he just said she'd be here and turned his back and walked away without any apology. His wife was more concerned and charged me less then the normal rate.
Another reason that I liked Myano Nails was their sensitivity to hygiene, which I noticed has started to change in a bad way. The "individual" packets for nails, toes and feet are not that individual anymore. I saw the owner brushing my used foot/heel buffer and putting it in a drawer under the sink o be wrapped and put in back to circulation later. When I told him about this later and raised my concerns about the hygiene, he just said "they clean it, it's OK" and walked away. Therefore, if you go there, make sure the wrapped individual packets are in fact NEW but NOT used repacked ones.
Terrible Paint Job! – Beyond a doubt this is the poorest paint job I've ever received both on my hands and feet! The result was polish on the skin of my toes, smudges and a very visible hair in the polish on one of my finger nails. The ladies there first said they couldn't see a problem then after my having to point out specific issue after issue finally offered to repaint. On my hand for some reason the manicurist thought she should cut my nails instead of fixing the polish?! Sadly my lunch hour was over and I had to live with their mistakes. They refused to discount their price due to their shoddy work as well. Other salons offer inexpensive mani/pedis but follow through on quality.
