I have always had good experiences with Dr. Bodin. I have walked in barely able to stand up and left feeling 100% better. What some of these other commenters list as negative, I find beneficial. I usually go on my lunch break and they get you in and out quickly! I have and will continue to recommend my friends and family to Dr. Bodin.
He saved my life!!!! – I owe my life to this Chiropractor!!!! I can't believe these people are writing bad reviews about him!!! This just goes to show how selfish those people are.... It sounds like it is all about what you wanted and not what you needed!!!... and are you a doc? Trust me he knows what he's doing!!! I'm a walking testimonial for what gift he has given me!!! Just because you have worked for chiropractors gives you the right to attack his practice. I assure you that he's probably glad to get rid of you !!! You sound like no matter what... you will never be pleased!!! You must be a doctor shopper!!!!
He was always listened to me and made me feel like I was the only patient he had... when the waiting room full of patients!!!
I would go to no other doctor... do not listen to the people that will never be pleased!!!
The staff was not stepford-like to me when I went to him... maybe it was just you being paranoid!!!!
He treated me and my whole family and is always willing to work with me. What other office would do that for you? How dare these people attack a person that has a huge heart and is always willing to help people no matter what!!!!
Go to him you won't be sorry!!!
Excellent doctor and respects your time – I have had the pleasure of being able to go to this office on several occassions. Being a chiropractor myself, I'm fairly critical of others in my profession. I can say, without reservation, this is a great doctor and a fantastic clinic. They were always able to get me right in and were always quick and efficient about their care. I left feeling much better than when I arrived.
They do not do massage or keep you there 30 minutes - they get you feeling better and then get you on with your life. If you have an hour to spend at a doctors office, you won't need it here. If that's what you want, this isn't the office for you. If you want to feel better and be able to get in and out in a reasonable time, I HIGHLY recommend this office.
Bad Practice -- Avoid! – I have worked for chiropractors in other states, so I was really shocked to find out how Bodin does chiropractic. He throws you on the roller table for precisely two minutes -- way too short to relax you, and FAR short of the legal standard of care -- then puts you on a table and adjusts you for less than a minute -- and then, Bam -- you're out of there. Oh, I almost forgot the ear zappie-thingie he calls "electric acupuncture." Bizarre. When I tried to ask questions, he told me smugly that he does things differently than lots of other chiropractors, (he follows some cult-like form of practice management called Pinnacle) and that I would get better just by him adjusting me -- even though I had tons of soft tissue damage and muscle knots and clearly needed massage and other modalities. Despite not caring at all about my pain or the fact that I needed other treatment, he insisted I sign up for 24-48 visits.
Every visit I felt intimidated and completely uncared for. He doesn't care how you're doing, what hurts, or what he can do to make you feel better. You climb on a painful table that has no give, he adjusts you without talking to you, and then you're up and out of there.
I was never told how much they charge until I asked. I found out they were billing my accident claim $170 an office visit for less than three minutes of treatment! The "cash discount" when they can't gouge insurance companies is $40 -- a HUGE difference.
I still haven't received an itemized bill for their services, (another little illegal thing) even though they filed a claim for $438 on my insurance.
The whole experience is really, really weird. The receptionists are like something out of Stepford, and Bodin is this smiling guy who manages to be intimidating even while he is telling you he is so "honored" to have you there.
$170 for three minutes of nothing? I guess I'd be honored to have a new sucker, too.
Do yourself and your friends a favor and don't be victims of this "slam bam" form of chiropractic.
Amazing! – Dr Bodin is amazing! He has helped my entire family, we are healthier and feeling better than we ever have before. He is famous for his results and I am living proof! I used to have headaches everyday until Dr. Bodin started treating me, now it is very rare that I ever get a headache! He fixes the problem rather than having me take a bunch of pain killers to treat the symptoms. I would recommend any one of my family members or friends to go see him! He's awesome!!
Horrible business practices! Avoid at all costs! – visited Bodin Chiropractic on 19th St. in Moore, next to Anytime Fitness, in January of 2008, it was a new office and was next door to my gym. I explicity asked if my insurance would cover any services rendered and clearly stated I DID not want any services if they were not covered.
The office manager assured me after taking my insurance card and making some phone calls that a $14.05 per visit co-pay would cover my visits.
Fast-Forward 21 monthes to November 2009.
No contact with Bodin Chiropractic since my last visit in Feb of 2008. Except a bi-monthly post card for 6 monthes telling about the great specials they are running. Receive a bill in the mail for $284!!!!! What kind of business is this? They tell me I am up to date and paid up during every visit and then 21 months later send me a bill for $284. What a bunch of crooks.
I placed a call and receieved the following explanation from a new office manager "Just because someone went to chiropractic school doesn't mean they know how to run a business". She went on to be extremely rude, often repeating the exact same lines over and over, talking about giving away free services, and helping people.
Well obviously you dont know either lady, if you lie to your customers and then try to weazle in a bill on them close to 2 years later, thats called BAD BUSINESS. Stay away from these guys at all costs!!!!!!
Needless to say the services recieved did not help my condition that was later diagnosed by a real doctor after receiving an MRI as bulging discs in my neck. This entire place is a sham.
