Close to the Theater and Good – Yes, it is close to the DCPA, but it has an excellent and unusual menu--it's worth seeking out even if you are not going to a play. Have had dinner here a few times after the matinee and also when I was downtown for meetings. The server recommended the pork chop and my sister loved it. I had salmon and it was perfectly done. Service is very good and they will get you in and out for the performance without rushing so you can savor your meal. It is a bit pricey, but a worthwhle treat when you are downtown.
The lounge is also nice with an eclectic appetizer menu for late night.
Think "tourist trap" – Went before a show at the DPAC since it's convenient. I think Kevin Taylor is either living off his past glory or has spread himself too thin to maintain quality at his many restaurants. This meal was a major disappointment. The tiny salmon was dry, flavorless and the sort of "pink-added" quality you'd get from Safeway. The "ravioli" was nothing more than strips of pasta. Something that was called pound cake for dessert was dry and hard. We were hungry at the end of the meal. The place draws plenty seeking a convenient stop before a show but all should be warned: there are plenty of quality eateries within walking distance. Pass this one by and find one.
