I have been going to this same place for almost 2 years now.. It is fantastic when I can get the massuses I prefer, but I have to plan a few weeks ahead every time for that (which is annoying because i dont know when im going to wake up with back pain).. It is hit or miss if I just pick a random massuse that day because my back hurts and needs to get in..

I was back to visit my parents, and needed my weekly massage, so of course I would choose Massage Envy. I had an appointment scheduled with Vince, and our 1 1/2 hour session started about 10-12 minutes late. He did apologize about being late and our session went well. The ladies at check out were fun, and commented on my Star Wars shirt.
Of course I'll be back since this location is close to where my parents live, so I know my next visit will be even better.I guess I have such high standards that I compare all Massage Envy locations to my home location.

These guys have a really nice store, I enjoy the pseudo-Asian "Relaxation Room" we get to chill in before getting a massage. The place is clean and professional
Awful service! Wish I could give 0 Stars. – My husband and I received gifts of one hour massages from my sister for Christmas. We were told that all the info was in their system and all we had to do was go in. My husband had his appointment for a week and arrived twenty minutes early for his massage. Upon arrival, they told him he wasn't in the system but could still have the massage at $79. We called the Lodo location in Denver since that was where they were purchased and they found him right away, yet his location still couldn't locate him. It took them nearly half an hour to find his information then told him he'd need to reschedule since it took too long. So basically, they tell my husband that HE has to reschedule (after waiting a week for this appointment) because THEY were morons. Needless to say, he was pretty frustrated, and then they have the nerve to call him "smiley face". I will NOT be using my massage and neither will he and we've told my sister to get her money back. I will be telling EVERYONE I know to never use these idiots, and I'd recommend the other people posting about being ripped off and overcharged to contact the BBB. This place doesn't deserve to stay open.
Scam; when you try to freeze your account! – I have been Massage Envy member for years, started in another state, and carried it over to the Briargate location for 31 months, since I PCS'd to another state, I submitted multiple request to freeze my account, which all were ignored, FINALLY after calling them and being stern, they drafted my account again and then froze my account. I tried to redeem the "pre-paid" massage that they drafted from my account, and was advised that as long as I was in "freeze" status that I can not use the pre-paid massage that I paid for- what the hell? I advised them I have been a faithful customer for 3 years in CO and this is how they treat faithful customers? I stated I will cancel my contract all together, and she stated I have to have my account drafted again, then have 30 days to use both pre-pays, what a scam; yes I will use my 2 pre pays but not with any Massage Envy's in Colorado Springs- very unethical and unprofessional ....becareful-
Shady, Unethical, Disgusting – This is, by far, the most unethical business I have ever encountered. Unlike some posters, I don't have complaints about the front desk customer service, my problems come with the management. Those of you who dislike the front desk staff, please understand the ladies/gentlemen up there probably do not make the rules, they are merely puppets in their play who are forced to spit out vague, corporate-esque answers designed to buy time until some lazy, incompetant manager finally decides to call back. "Cheryl" is apparently the "ACA," but no one actually knows what that means. Her tone is disgusting and my 10yr old would know how to run a business better than she. She stutters over questions and usually answered with "I'm not authorized, I have to check with my boss." I want to cancel, but it seems like I've signed my life away to this company for a while. What kind of company won't let you cancel due to financial hardship??? Does anyone know who owns this unethical landfill or who is actually in charge??? If you like being locked into a contract, being given the run around, then you're fine. The therapists that I have seen have been really good, it's too bad the owners don't take their cue from them. Lucky for the rest of the staff they are located next to a liquor store, HAHA.
No Stars!! Horrible customer service and unauthorized charge – Horrible customer service and took unauthorized charges from my bank account. I signed up for a 6 month contract over a year ago. When I signed up for the contract I was assured by the (high pressure) salesperson that my membership would be cancelled. I was concerned about the cost so I wanted the minimum commitment. I did not even use the full 6 months that I paid for because the last time I went for a massage there the person doing the massage kept coughing and sneezing on and aroudn me for the whole time. It was disgusting!!! I have not had any contact with the company and then yesterday they took 374.00 from my bank account that was not authorized!! I have called the store several times and also went in today and each time I am told that there is not anyone there "authorized" to assist me. I was promised each time a phone call right away but have not received a call. I would never use this business again and I woudl advise anyone from giving thiscompany any financial or bank information. I asked that my bank information be removed from their database and I was told that this was not possible by the person at the front desk as I am afraid of additional unauthorized charges by this sleazy company.
Bad Massage, Even Worse Customer Service – I came for a relaxing massage, but later that evening, my back began to swell and it hurt to touch it. The pain lasted for two days, and then went away. I asked to be refunded for the cost of the massage, as it actually made me worse off, however management stated I could come back, pay them MORE money with the hopes that one of their therapists would be a better match. . . . Not a chance would I go back to this place after being treated this way. I'll never go to a cheap massage therapy place again.
