Great Food!!! – If you like a good New York this is the place to go. The sides aren't half bad either. I would recommend the caeser salad, asparagus, and potatoes Au Gratin. Everytime I have been there the service has been excellent too. The food is worth the price but if you are looking for a romantic meal with a view this is not the spot.
Overpriced – The food was pretty good. We had steak and lobster. But the prices were so unreasonable. It was THAT good!
Excellent Service and Food – My husband and I went to Ruths Chris for our anniversary a few days ago and were pleased with both our food and our service. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms, cowboy ribeyes and the sweet potato casserole. Everything was delicious. I can't recommend enough the sweet potato casserole, it tastes just like dessert. Our waiter was Michael and he did an excellent job, he was very friendly and made our experience very enjoyable. Since it was our anniversary they gave us a complimentary creme brulee that was to die for.
This was our second time going to Ruths Chris and it definitely won't be our last!
high quality steak! high quality service! – My friend treated me here for the first time, and I was blown away. I ordered the filet mignon with potatoes and onion rings on the side, and it was pretty heavenly~ The service was really great... our waiter was really friendly and always accessible. We also ordered the creme brulee dessert, which I highly recommend (I am a creme brulee connoisseur). The menu is pretty pricey, especially if you order sides with your meal (they come a la carte), but it's definitely worth the experience and the quality of the meat.
Great steak! Great Service! – Ruth's Chris is the place to go for great steak. My wife and I has been there for over 4 times, and we love it everytime. I really wish they have the Kobe steak more often (specials). I really love their Kobe, cooked to perfection. The first time my wife and I went there, she had the filet and I had the kobe. Before I took a bite of my steak, I had a piece of her filet. It melted in my mouth, and I was impressed. Then I had my kobe. This changed everything. I could not settle for any other steak except the kobe, where I loved it to the last bite. Now they're presenting the buffalo beef, which is not as good as the kobe, but great in its own.
Most exquisite place to dine – I absolutely love Ruth's Chris! It was such an amazing experience from the food to the service. My boyfriend took me there for my birthday and I had very high expectations because of all the reviews I had read. Let me tell you: they were exceeded. I am one to rate service as important as the food, and their service was great. We did make reservations and were seated within 5 minutes of being there, and our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was unbelieveable. The steak is juicy, tender, and so flavorful (we had filet mignons) and their sides were so delicious as well (we had asparragus, onion rings, and au gratin potatoes). Definitely worth the pricey tab... definitely.
UNQUESTIONABLY THE BEST STEAK IN AMERICA – With out a doubt the butter sizzling Filet Mignon is the best steak around. The Lyonaisse (or however you spell it)potatoes aren't bad either. I've been to hundreds of steak houses across the country and still haven't found a better Filet. Now when I ask my 6 year old where she wants to go for dinner, she always says Ruth's Chris.
Definitely worth it... – You have to keep in mind that you're going to a place that mainly attracts people who just don't want to go to a Sizzler or mediocre steak place...So don't be surprised with the price. You go here to experience excellent steak (yes, served sizzling in butter!) and excellent service. I've been here about 4 times, and haven't had a bad experience! The sides are good as well--try the mashed potatoes, yum! (they're a la carte so you pay extra) and wines are delicious! Creme brullee is a must for dessert! Dessert comes for free if it's your birthday :) First time I went here we didn't have reservations but was able to get some table by a bar and the service was just fantastic! They fixed it up as though it's one of those in the dining area. I will keep coming back here, FOR SURE!
Simply amazing – As if this place needs another great review, but here are my two cents. I have dined here probably over 10 times (and have been to a lot of the other locations as well). They impress me every time - the wine is amazing, the steak and the lamb are amazing, the service is top notch and really friendly. Great for family dinners or dates.
greeeeat steaks!!!! – astonished by the steaks at ruth's chris!! the steaks are juicy and tender and cooked just the way how i liked it! the steak is worth every penny and i would definitely go back there again! No complaints for what we ordered. We ordered baked stuffed mushroom, spinach au gratin, onion ring, ribeye steak, new york steak oscar style and filet mignon. Yum Yum Yum!
The only complaint is that i waited for about 15 minutes even thought i had reservation. however this is understandable since they had a large party of 30 people. Other than that, the service and food were awesome!!!!!
