Lost a Customer for Life. Horrible experience using Groupon credit at Rose Cleaners. Went to De Zavala location and the lady quoted me a price with the coupons from their company website. I showed her the Groupon credit downloaded on my iPhone, but she said that the credit could not be used in conjunction with the coupons. I showed her the Groupon on my cell phone. There were other exclusions (no leather, no laundry, etc), but there was no exclusion for using in conjunction with company coupons. Not even a statement that "other exclusions may apply." Nothing. Still, she refused. I asked her to call her area supervisor (Jesse) and talked with him. He very reluctantly agreed to honor the terms on the electronic Groupon credit, and asked to speak with the lady at the desk. To my amazement, she continued to argue with him, trying to convince him to reverse his decision. Even more amazingly, she was successful! She cited a separate document provided to her that contradicted the electronic Groupon provided to me (the customer).

Even beyond the issue of the price involved, I am shocked Rose Cleaners execs would agree to one set of terms that would be provided in electronic format to the customer, and another set of terms and conditions that would be provided in print to the store. Were they not paying attention? And how can they blame the customer for that? Now, I have to complain to Groupon and try to get my money back. No way will I do business with a company that demands I adhere to exclusions with which they never provided me. Hope that $10 was worth it to them.
