I was very disappointed for the country hoedown cruise. We had a great time since we went with a group of 10 - but honestly... the boat was not at all what I expected. We left almost 30 mins late. First time I've even had my bra searched to go to an event!. The boat itself wasn't in great condition, could use some paint and new carpet for the lower deck, the bathrooms started to stink in <30 mins. Seems like only 1 Woman's room actually was fully functional, the drinks were outrageously expensive. I'm glad I had gotten a discount ticket as if I had paid $35 for it I'd really be mad. Its a public cruise - so rude people just come along with that. I was surprised at the spiked heels on some of the girls for a country theme - but hey - if you can stand on a rocky boat - go for it. I also agree that they shouldn't have changed the music and the DJs could care less - although they were having a great time! I wouldn't recommend this cruise nor would I go on another hosted by this company.
Saturday Country night was a huge disappointment. Save your money people at go elsewhere for your country needs. They stopped playing country music with more than an hour plus left on the cruise. The were playing new kids on the block and other crap like that. Then they started playing club type music...the people on board were douchebags. When we asked about why they turned the Country cruise into a hip hop cruise one guy said to me, "one song and you're really gonna complain?". It was like a half an hour before I said something douchebag. If you're going to play whatever BS music you want fine, but don't call this a country cruise! Save your money people!
Went on this cruise last week with some of my buddies and it was awesome. the boat was full of hot girls and we all got a couple of numbers. definitely a fun time and it works as an awesome pregame because we all went out to the bars in Faneuil after.
If you're looking for something to do on a Thursday in the city look no further.
Great Booze Cruise! – The Boatonian is a great deal! For only 20 bucks a ticket (less if you buy a bunch) my friends and I had the best time we've had in a while. The boat was full of hot, young people and the DJ was so good. The drinks are average price and they have hot dogs you can buy too. Everyone was so friendly and fun and the music was great. My friend even entered the dance contest and became Miss Boatonian and won $200! This is a great cruise for anyone looking to have an awesome time on a Thursday night. The cruise ends at 10 which is perfect if you want to go out from there or if you have an early morning you can head home right after.
I will definitely be going on the Boatoinan again soon!
Best Thursday Night in Boston! – Last night I went on the Boatonian's Thirsty Thursday cruise with a group of my friends. It was SO MUCH FUN! We had such an amazing time and the beer was cold. The DJ was so awesome and it was a really great crowd. Well worth the 20 bucks to get on. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
I don't know how any one could have any complaints about this cruise. You get exactly what you sign up for: a fun booze cruise on Boston Harbor.
I recommend this to anyone looking to have a really great time on a Thursday night!
