Could be awesome – I don't know how this place has so many stars. The building itself is awesome, tons of room, more than one floor and room to sit. The drinks taste like they have half a shot in them but aren't that cheap and the bartenders making them aren't that good (obviously.) The music is great but the people there are so boring and obnoxious that they don't dance, or even smile. Hot girls all around but they stand in a circle by themselves, as do the guys for that matter. It's just weird that people could sit around and drink with music and not dance, or at least bob their heads. Not my type of place.
Citysearch Editorial Review – With the addition of super-chef David Ansill as the omnipotent, daily overseer of the kitchen and beer guru/foodie blogger Collin Flatt as the consulting overseer of the bar, this Center City restaubar sheds its shell as a kiddie hangout with subpar food and emerges as a Place to Take Seriously. Revamped menus aside, a Center City suit crowd continues to clamor for lunches and happy hours while 20-somethings still line up on weekend nights to dance to DJs playing the Violent Femmes. The need for frequent character transitions becomes apparent with one glance at the multi-leveled open floor plan, which easily allows for some central high-top tables to be pushed aside to make way for the hardwood dance floor that shines black against the polished, red-hued wooden walls.
