All Levels of Fitness Need Apply – Okay, I have never been one for writing reviews. I was a bit hesitant to join a bootcamp. I was concerned that I would not be able to keep up and that everyone would be superstars of fitness. I am happy to say that I was able to overcome my own "issues" of not being at the head of the pack, and resigned my self to bring up the rear and complete each session.
As time went on, I began to receive more individualized attention...and I also felt motivated to continue. Stacy is a breath of fresh air in the world of Physical Fitness. She knows just when to push, and when to ease up.
She brings a very balanced energy to her routine. Just enough to know that she is in charge, but the right amount of care and concern mixed in.
I thought this would be a Groupon try out. However, I keep coming back. I am much stronger, and much more fit than a few months ago.
I would recommend this to everyone. I don't like being indoors and gyms are not my favorite. This is the best of both worlds. Stacy is amazing.
Kicked my Butt and I Loved Every Minute – I have been exercising for 18 years. I've tried every type of exercise (e.g. Step classes, dance classes, spin classes, running on treadmills and elliptical machines)...i even ran a marathon. However, I never quite achieved my desired body or weight...until I started Stacy's Boot Camp last year. I have FINALLY ACHIEVED my ideal weight, tone and look. Now Stacy is helping me maintain!
Best Workout I Have Ever Had – I have always considered myself a go-getter, adventurous, physically active, and not easily defeated. However, I have NEVER had upper body strength. NEVER been able to do Pull Ups, NEVER pushed up, inched up, planked up. NEVER able to work on my arms without them shaking and wiggling and giving out.
It has been three weeks...8 sessions....8 hours and now this "Lovely" can NEVER say NEVER again. I CAN Pull Up, Push Up, Plank, Inch Worm and Dive Bomb, oh my... Thanks to Stacy's unwavering support and knowledge that I COULD. No other training session, trainer, etc. has guided me to this level of strength in such a short time...
Smart, Savvy Effective Workout – A coupon and a dose of curiosity got me to CPW to meet Stacy and well, submit myself to her brand of torture. She's amazing. I have weaknesses in my knees, shoulders, lower back and wrists and was stunned that the minute I seemed uncomfortable or unable (waaaay different from goldbricking) she was already next to me with the alternative modification. (Who IS THIS WOMAN?!!) Her workout is manically balanced and even though I was the LAST person doing laps, in a few short weeks my body had visibly changed. And so had my attitude ....(toward pullups and pushups mostly ;)
Staceys bootcamp was not for all fitnesss levels – I joined this bootcamp for weightloss. I was humiliated as I was in a class of athletes, and I was on the bottom end of that. I was unable to do even half of what was done, and nothing was modified for me. I was sort of pushed aside until I quit. I felt humiliated a useless.
Best Workout EVER – I have been taking Stacy's Boot Camp for about 4 years now. I planned on taking only one or two sessions when i started but got hooked. Its so good i actually gave up my gym membership and come out to meet my fellow boot campers in all types of weather. I am in better shape today than I was in my 20s, I am 37! Other than physically I have also built up a great group of friends within class and have this self confidence that comes with me into the world. I owe it all to Stacy and her class.
Great workout!!! – I have been playing sports my whole life and have run 3 marathons but doing Stacy's boot camp has given me the best workout ever - giving me a total body workout that I wasn't getting at the gym or even long distance running. I was in a bit of a workout rut before I started with Stacy, and now 6 months later have been working out consistently and have lost 15 pounds. But more importantly, have found a challenging workout both mentally and physically. Stacy really goes at everyone's level, is great about answering questions and never repeats a workout.
If you're on the fence, try it!! You won't regret it.
The Most Amazing Workout Ever!! – I found Stacy 's boot camp a few years ago through a friend and ever since, I can't get enough of this unique workout. The classes change constantly so you don't get bored yet there is always one constant: you get an AWESOME FULL BODY WORKOUT EVERY TIME: RAIN OR SHINE.
The workouts are really smart and efficient- 1hr 3x a week and your body will change. Trust me. And, while the workout is difficult, Stacy does a great job understanding people are at different fitness levels so she is able to guide the classes even with a variety of levels.
Check it out. I highly recommend this workout.
BEST WORKOUT EVER!!! – Stacy completely changed my life. I started doing her classes over a year ago and HATED working out. I now crave a good workout! The workouts are always different, always full body and always fun. An hour flies by SO quickly. I lost over 20 pounds and went down 2 sizes!! I can't stress enough how amazing this class is. Give it a try. If you're looking for results, this is the way to get them.
Amazing – If you are serious about wanting to change your body, Stacy's Boot Camp is the most amazing, fun and challenging way to do it. I have paid for every expensive trainer and gym in the City and Stacy's Boot Camp is by far a superior way to get in shape. This great class with Stacy will push you to your limit and then she understands and motivates you to go even further. It is fun to be outdoors and each workout is different and every class is at another location in the Park--a real challenge that never lets you get bored mentally or physically.
All I can say is THANK YOU to Stacy and her Boot Camp for re-shaping my body, making me strong and fit both physically and mentally and yes, even getting me back into my bikini.
