Horrible service!! Don't go hungry & be prepared to wait – The service is horrible. It took about 20 min for someone to even ask if I wanted a drink. Then another 20 to order food. The saddest part is the place was damn near empty. I just don't see how waiting 3 tables is overwhelming to the point people have cups of ice and no drinks continuously through the night. I tipped only because it's what's right but it pained me to do so. Management needs to get it together or be replaced. Such a shame since the place is no nice.
Beers of all flavors found here – This place rocks for beer and fun! It's one of our fave places to meet people and enjoy beers with fun bar food. The fare is good and reasonably priced. The beer list is awesome - both draft and bottle. Everyone will find something they like. Plus you can try samples of draft beers.
Left empty handed and empty stomach – I sat for 15 minutes @ the bar and all I got was a menu put in front of me. The "beer fetcher" was in flames with only a handful of seats and the manager was hanging out with the hostesses @ the front door. This T-Mac sucks.
My Favorite Local Hangout – I like to sit in the bar area. It tends to have better servers who know the beers and for me it tends to be a little quiter than the dining area. Being a family place, its always loaded with kids at dinner time. Overall I love the beer and food selections and usually end up there, once or twice a week.
Unsanitary Bar with a Disgusting Oder – Compared to other Taco Macs I have been in, this is by far the worst. The bar is always filthy with an odor which smells like mold and mildew. The bar is seldom wiped down, and I have witnessed customers having to ask for a wet rag and clean an area themselves. If you go there, get a table, do not sit at the bar as it is filthy!
Laidback hangout with prime people-watching, Buffalo wings and beer galore. – The Scene
Since the opening of its Virginia Highlands flagship store, Taco Mac has grown to 19 Atlanta locations. The casual meeting spot keeps its customers coming back with its huge beer selection (from 25 to 108 draught beers depeding on location), unpretentious food and no dress code. The laidback attitude attracts young families with children and after-work minglers. Simply decorated with neon beer signs, beer coolers and TVs showing sports, the Mac caters to those who don't want to grow up.
The huge beer selection and non-stop wings make new customers regulars. The Buffalo wings are customized, available in four different spice levels: mild to Three Mile Island. An updated menu offers a fresh change with grilled salmon salad and shrimp fajitas, but keeps the popular Tex-Mex favorites and huge sandwiches. Taco Mac's outdoor deck gets the crowds from early spring to late fall.
