good location... falling apart – I moved in Oct/Nov 2011, I was very excited being that this is my first apt on my own. At the time I was told there were no apt to tour besides the model apt. The model apt is beautiful, and loved the set up of the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, each bathroom is built inside the bedroom, which is a great set up if you have a roommate. I came back a few days later after seeing some other apts and decided to go with Waters Edge. After the non refundable Admin fee was paid ($300), the floor and move in date was changed from what was previously discussed, I asked could I move in one day before the new move date because I had very thing planned, she told me she would give me a call. I called after a week of no response and I was told to come by 5pm that Friday. Friday came and nothing was ready, they had no idea about the agreement that was made a few weeks prior. Even though there was a misunderstanding I was able to move ($35 fee for moving a day early), and go over the paper work and terms... which I felt they should have went over once I pay the admin fee.

- rent is due on the FIRST OR THE MONTH AND FIRST ONLY, the late fee is 10% of your rent.

- the lease agreement was changed from 12 months to 14 months. My copy has 12, their copy has 12 month SCRATCH out with 14 month hand written in...

- and a bunch of miscellaneous fees for keys, parking, and nick-picky stuff

We tour the apt, it seem fine at glance. Once I moved and starting using the utilities... from day one the heat didn't work, they came out 2 time within one month to fix it. Screen door was missing. Every time I flush my toilet there's a big clonking noise a few seconds after. My bedroom window completely fell out. The A/C didn't work once the weather got warmer. My friends car got broken into. Sometime the lights in parking work. And parking... the parking program they tried to put in place, was epic fail, and got a lot a people towed. Now a I have a leaking issue with my A/C... all this has acquired in 6 months. Sad thing is work 12 hours a day, so i'm not even home long enough to enjoy it or use any thing. I'm looking forward to the next 6 months so I can move out!!! An apt that cost this much with such strict rules, should not have all these faults.

WORST PLACE EVER TO LIVE – Don't move In here. They don't think before they do things.

Take parking for instance. They tried to assign parking and only gave one assigned space to each apartment. That doesn't work if you have a two bedroom place with two people in different cars. Cars get towed quickly even if a friend is just popping in. Be careful.

They don't come out to do the repairs unless you hound them in person.

Management has no idea what they are doing, unless they can figure out a way to add charges then they're good at that.

Worst apartment experience ever. Will never recommend anyone to live here. No wonder they changed the name of the complex. They just tried to trick people.

Terrible – Everything in the other reviews is true. Horrible Parking, Horrible Management, Horrible Maintenance, Horrible Price. Nothing ever works in my apartment and they keep saying it is fixed or I never told them. All Lies...No Ice Maker since day one. Cheapest ever Washer and Dryer. Take 3 cycles to dry anything. Wall are thin. Neighbors blast music and dont turn it down when they come into neighborhood.

I can not wait to leave in March and never come back, but if you are looking to pay a lot to live some where awful then this place is for you!

WATERS EDGE IS HORRIBLE – First off, I just want to say me and my boyfriend picked out this apartment complex and we completely REGRET it. One of the ladies who helped us with the lease and showed us around completely lied. Her name was Pam. She first told us our apartment would be on the 2nd floor, then when my boyfriend payed and everything for the first month she took us to a 3rd floor apartment. The area is horrible as well. The streets are crappy and they are VERY small. The chances of you finding a parking spot after 6 is slim. Speaking of slim, the parking spots are sooo tiny. I have a VW Beetle and i can barely squeeze into some spots in their. We had/have so many problems inside of the apartment. In the bathroom, the bar that holds the curtain is bent, and the toilets get backed up easily. The shower handles are cheap and break easily. (which happened to us) and we reported the exhaust fan for not working also, and its been months and they still haven't came to fix it. One of the doors completely fell off of its handles, and you have to shove the other door hard to close it. We were told by Pam that everything was basically new..which was crap. The electric plugs are upside down, and they are so loose, its impossible to plug anything in because they literally fall right out. One of the windows in the other room wont even completely close, unless you FORCE it close. The balcony has a horrible view. All we can see is the backyards from the houses in front of us. I do not recommend this place what so ever. My boyfriend cannot wait to move out.

this place isn't worth 10.00 a month rent – I have been living here for 10 months and can't wait to move when my lease is up in 2 months. I hate that I am sitting in this community as I type this. When we moved in we were unable to get any curtains or pictures on the walls because the walls are so cheaply made a nail or screw will not hold in the wall, it just falls out so we have up no decorations or curtains. There has been several cars broken into around the parking lots, also they only have a few parking spaces and definitely not enough for all the residents, it is very rare that you get to even park near your apartment, so if you come in at night past 5pm you most likely will park far away and not be able to see your car to see if someone is breaking into it which happens alot here, they now say they have some security but I never see him and its not like he keeps cars from getting broke into. They have a gym which stays so hot you don't want to workout in it, most things in their the computers are out on so you can't see your speed, distance, or calories burned. Also in the 10 months living here my air went out,we went 2 days living with the windows open not to mention I was pregnant they didn't care. The garbage disposal went out at 9pm and my sink overflooded and they acted like they couldn't come fix it til the next day, and I have a baby I had to use my kitchen sink for bottles. My toilet went out and flooded the bathroom and backedup poop all over the bathroom, they replaced my toilet but left the old toilet outside my apartment door for over a month ewwwww, but when my blinds got a little bent in the corner the wrote a letter and put on my door demanding that I better have it fixed within 1 week or they would charge me 35.00.Also they were suppose to repair my bathroom floor 4 months ago when they fixed the toilet but I haven't seen them fix that yet. The noise here is horrible, people drive by blowing horns all night, loud rap music shaking the windows, and you can hear your neighboors through the hollow walls that won't even hold a nail they are so thin and cheap. They way the floorplan is set up it is hard and sometimes impossible to get furniture into the 2nd bedroom because of the hallway being so narrow and short, you can't get a dresser into the 2nd bedroom.last the living space is sooo small 800 square feet about and isn't worth 1000.00 a month rent, Please stay far from this place! I wouldn't renew my contract here even if they let me stay half off or even 75% off its not worth it, I am a happy person and living here always finds a way to ruin my day and get me to cussing and angry real quick.
