Be careful! Worst experience I ever had at a dealership. Was told they would clean the vehicle, they did NOT! Was told they would fill up the gas tank, they did NOT! Tried to overcharge when financing warranty. Did not get a copy of warranty. Went back next day & asked about tank of gas & was told "not my job". Will not be going back to ANY WESTGATE dealership
A great experience. I traded a 2005 Avalon for a 2009 Acura RL, thinking it was just the car to fit my needs., Unfortunately, though the car performed perfectly, I didn't like the ride because I had gotten used to an Avalon. When I came in for an oil change I mentioned the RL's stiff ride to the folks at Westgate and thought no more about it. A month later, I got a call saying that Westgate had found another Avalon that I might interest me. I test drove it and found that they were right, just what I wanted. But, after doing a little research, I determined that the price was more than I wanted to pay. A couple of days later, Westgate called to me back and we were able to work it out. I picked up the new Avalon today and must say that I couldn't be happier.

We had a great experience when we recently purchased a car from Westgate Imports. We had been looking for a specific car and found that Westgate had the best price. The car runs great and exceeded our expectations. The whole staff is very friendly and easy going. The General Manager, Justin, was there through the whole process to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. We will definitely be back for our next vehicle purchase. I had a great experience purchasing a car here. I had to return my rental car to the airport and they said they would pick me up from there. They did and it was the owner who did it. Great work.
What an excellent experience. I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in to have body damage repaired. You could not have asked for a better experience; the personnel were inviting and friendly and the facilities were clean and also inviting. Justin performed the estimate for the damage on my vehicle. He described in detail what they would need to do as far as the repairs and how long they would need my Jeep. He provided me an estimate within just a few minutes of looking at the damage. Once I took my Jeep in, my experience was exactly how Justin had described it. I am also very pleased with the quality of work that was performed. Promises were made and promises were kept. I have dealt with other body shops before and they would make promise after promise that they could not keep. It was my pleasure to work with such outstanding people who take pride in their position. Thank you to all who were involved in making this a good experience.
I recently purchased my car here, and 1 week later I found out it was going to need some repairs I was not expecting. I called Justin and he worked with me immediately and said they would take care of the repairs. I couldn't believe how friendly and accommodating they were. They exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them to anyone. They truly care about their customers. I will definitely be back for my next car or necessary body work.
We inherited a Buick and wanted to trade for a more fuel-efficient car for my daughter. She went to Westgate twice, speaking with Justin and Mary, and was treated with respect, not pushy sales talk. In the end, we got a great deal on a lightly used Mazda 3 - cute and efficient!
Slow but Sure ...with no complaints! – I got into my first car accident in March 2012. My car was totaled and for two weeks (when the rental would be up) my husband I had searched frantically for a car, we must have gone to literally 30 dealerships ranging from the acres of cars to the small used dealerships. We had just about given up when we were online yet again and saw a bunch of Subarus at Westgate so decided to just check them out before I "settled" on a cheaper and older model I had seen on Craigslist. It was a 2005 with a little less than 100,000 miles, price was good and though it had some small interior issues, we decided to purchase it. The brakes were squealing a bit so my husband who's a mechanic asked if they could throw in a new set of rotors and brake pads and he would put them on. Not a problem they said, we'll call you when they're in. I had driven the car for 3 days when the turbo went. We were nervous because we knew that this car didn't have a warranty but with my husband being a mechanic, he felt he could handle any small issues that came up. I nervously called Westgate to inform them I was on the side of the road with the engine light on and the turbo busted and they said bring it in, they would take care of it. My insurance company paid for towing though they kept it for almost 3 weeks , I didn't mind too terribly because they gave me a great little loaner car ("THE EGGPLANT" they called it) to get to and from work. Not only did they not have to do that but then they replaced the turbo, put in a new battery and were friendly the whole time. If you do your research on a vehicle and know it's history, it's really not Westgates fault if you're not happy with a car you purchase from them. The turbo went because it "was about that time" and they went above and beyond service. Justin and Mary were excellent.
......and to respond to a couple of reviews I have read, I just wanted to say two things ( I am not looking for heated discussions about this back and forth, just my two cents).......
*To the people who wanted Westgate to have all of their paperwork ready and done ahead of time because they have small children: Everyone knows that buying a car is going to be (NO MATTER WHAT) an all day process. You have to plan for it ahead of time and yes it's an inconvenience and yes, it's a pain with two small kids but if you saw what I did when I was there; they are always busy and only a handful of them running a dealership and mechanic shop.
...I love that they didn't badger me. After going to soooo many dealerships and being chased around the lot, it was nice that Westgate just let my husband and I look around. When we had questions they answered them. If you are looking for a dealership that is going to hound you and hold your hand through the entire process then maybe Westgate isn't for you. Their prices are affordable, customer service is good (keep in mind there are just a few people doing what usually 20 are doing so they are constantly running around) and if you look at other reviews, people have been trusting them for years. Again, just my two cents but I would buy from them again without question. Best of luck to any future car buyers. :-)
BUYER BEWARE – We purchased what we thought was a great car at a good value even though it was a loss title vehicle from Westgate. We understood the mechanics warranty was limited and I'm still okay with that. It's been a good car so far BUT BE CAREFUL- THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK and don't tell you they don't stand behind their BODY WORK.
What we're NOT AT ALL HAPPY about is that 3yrs + a couple months after owning the car the parts that were replaced/painted began to crackle/peel. We took it back and they had the gall to try to tell me it was the HEAT --- yes it was hot but please explain WHY then ONLY the parts YOU painted are peeling??? Can we say BAD PAINT JOB???????? either in workmanship and/or materials!!!!!!!!!
They gave us a price to redo it and since we bought it there a $250 discount????? and oh, it would only have a 3 year warranty!!! I just had to pay 1600 to have it painted at a dealer repair shop but guess what... it's a lifetime warranty paint job! I was SHOCKED Westgate would not stand behind their work!!!! BUYER BEWARE
Great Service – Needed to get the timing belt of my 2002 Honda Accord Coupe changed. I called Leith Honda and got a quote. I called Westgate Imports and found their quote was $100 less than Leith. They changed my timing belt and the service was excellent. They made an appointment and the process was seamless. The car was ready when they told me it would be. I have not had any problems with the car since the service. Joanna was a big help and I will come back to Westgate Imports for more service.
