Excellent happy hour and be sure to order an empanada or two from the shop next door! They'll deliver it right to your bar stool.

Bigfoot Lodge West – Yay! ! !!!! ! y!

I have been into this quaint mountain lodge multiplezz and multiplezzz of times and am suprised I have not written a review about this location!

You walk in and hand your I.D to the door guy who may or may not be there at the second you go and off you go into a time where the Donner Party would have loved to settle down before resorting to cannibalism, (although the only things they have to eat are Pirouettes(sp?) which you get with your thin mint martini)!

So the 3rd to last time I came here it was on a Friday or a Saturday, I don't quite remember which of those days it was, but it was crowded in a good way that you didnt have a boy accidentally grinding on you as you bump butts with butts and boobs and boobs, alright back to the experience.

So I came here with my friend Allison as she got the tarzan or the one with ginger and something in it. One of their signature drinks in the tallll glass.I got the vodka cranberry I think. So this place is nice and dark with a stump-paneled bar and the taxidermy. There is ample seating and if you can, you and your husband/wife/friends/bf/gf/friend with benefits/ one night stand can cuddle up in one of the many platformed booths.

They have an outdoor covered smoking area where you can bring your drinks and sit on stumps. Also this place is one of the frequented stops for food trucks.

One of my favorite bars in Los Angeles-Should be yours too! – By far one of my favorite bars: bartenders are amazing! drink menus are very creatively themed with a woodsy twist. The decor is the BEST part of this bar: sasquatch, wood, and you cannot forget the JACKALOPE!

Citysearch Editorial Review – Everybody's favorite woodsy watering hole has finally branched out to the Westside. Although it maintains the kitschy charm of its sister location in Atwater Village (yes, those are stuffed animal heads staring down at you), this Culver City outpost is more log cabin chic than Big Bear camp. The 2,000 square foot space features a covered front patio and antique bird diorama at the door, while inside you'll find roomy leather booths, eclectic chandeliers, a hand-carved Indian totem pole and a custom pine bar made of naturally fallen trees from--where else?--Big Bear. The drink menu is no less impressive with an extensive list of North American bourbons and whiskeys as well as signature cocktails like the fiery Toasted Marshmallow and the green-hued Girl scout, a chocolatey Thin Mint martini. And if those log walls look familiar, don't worry, it's not the drinks causing double vision--they were recycled from the set of Jim Carey's movie “Yes Man."
