By far my favorite restaurant in ATL. Everyone comes here for sushi, but you should really off the Izakaya menu.

This Japanese restaurant serves a variety of small plates, my favorites being the soy egg & kakuni bun. Get there early ramen for lunch Tuesday-Friday

This widely-acclaimed joint gets transformed into a ramen-ya during lunch time. Broth is made for 36 hrs and served on specially made fresh ramen flown in from NYC.

Citysearch Editorial Review – Lodged in a stylish, industrial space in the back of Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood, Miso Izakaya is a gastropub that slings creative Japanese small plates, sushi, and shochu cocktails. And not surprisingly, they draw a festive crowd that’s looking for action; be it on a date, or with a group. Basics like miso soup and California rolls provide safe options, but skip the mundane and opt for this izakaya’s inventive, sharable plates. Pillow-y perfect duck buns are a must-try; their lively combination of duck, star anise jus, scallions and hoisin often leaves diners with “OMG” expressions on first bite. Not to be outdone on the fun-o-meter, the weirdly-good Japadog is a hotdog topped with teri-mayo, onions and seaweed. Tonkotsu pork sandwiches and steamed dumplings (gyoza) are less adventurous but order-worthy. Throw in a few shochu-infused cocktails and go home happy.

wonderful food – I really enjoyed this restaurant, and can’t wait to go back. It was fun to try the various Japanese tapas. I feel like I discovered a real neighborhood gem - Old 4th Ward and Inman Park residents take note. Try the lamb small plate, and a fun cocktail.
