Food Fresh from the Microwave
by GoBananas at Citysearch
My stew, which came highly recommended, tasted like prepackaged Dinty Moore, and had soggy shoestring fries sprinkled on top. The lamb shank was mostly fat, and also came in a watery Chef Boyardee sauce. Most of the menu seemed more Italian than Persian -- while I'm not at all familiar with Persian food, I frequently eat Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food, and this was nothing like either. The atmosphere and service felt very upscale, but this was a wasted effort given the quality of the food. The best part of the experience was the flatbread which comes free with every meal. Anything served in a sauce is not a high point for this restaurant -- I can't speak to whether the grilled/skewered meats are any better, but I will not be going back to find out.
Best Persian food in town!

This place just reopened. It has been a favorite of mine for many years. Looks like they did a total remodel. Very upscale and the food was even better than ever. The grilled meats and basmati rice are to die for! I usually eat so much of the homemade pita that I can't finish my food. The portions are large and the prices are very resonable. The service is friendly .
