Customer service sucks! – Cute place but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went to my friend's private birthday gathering at this place. My initial thought was this is such a cute spot I definitely have to come back...until I spoke with Chrishon who introduced herself as the owner. She seemed okay for the first couple of minutes then I realized she had a snotty undertone. She became rude to my friend and I and tried to over charge us by trying to hide the list of drink specials and charge us full price for a drink on the list. The sound system was also lousy...the music may as well have been non existent b/c it could only be heard in one corner of the room. So much for the cute new spot I thought I found b/c I will NEVER GO BACK.
South Loop cafe/gallery/lounge with art shows at night. – Three Peas offers art for purchase without the often intimidating atmosphere of a gallery. Small and intimate, with vivid contemporary paintings covering the white walls and funky cylindrical light fixtures, this is the kind of place where patrons are greeted, not snubbed. Daytime sees a cozy cafe full of Internet surfers munching on homemade cupcakes and sipping Metropolis coffee, while the first Friday of each month brings the opening of a new art show. The art lounge displays works by local, emerging artists such as Hebru Brantley and Jessica Censotti. A full bar with wine and cocktails emerges after hours.
