Horrible Serive

I started at Walnut Creek two yrs ago. It was my first time at a CO dentist office. My first experience with great service but yesterday went back def new faces and they messed my schedule up and squeezed me in and the Hygienist Tammy was in such a big hurry she rushed through my cleanning and hurt me really bad in my gums that it was painful and my gums were bleeding. I've never had any problems. Now, my gums are very red and swollen and in pain. I will never go back there and I'll def tell my friends to not go there!

Like going to a used car salesman!

If you want to feel pressured into buying into all of their junk they say will do your teeth and gums better, go! I will STAY AWAY! My first visit was awful! Besides trying to sell my Laser Therapy for my gums at a discounted price of $75, instead of the normal $125, they also charge a $95 "convenience" fee to get a crown directly from them! Isn't being a CUSTOMER a CONVENIENCE for them to remain in business and be gainfully employed?

Beverly Hills Prices at this California Based Practice

They coax you in with the offer of a $39 cleaning. They dazzle you with imaging equipment that rivals the Next Generation of Star Trek. They trap you in the dental chair – THEN – they send in the closer who tells you that you need at least $10,000 in dental work. But, wait! If you join their in-house PLAN today – for the low price of $111 a year, you can get a significant discount…maybe even reducing your charges down to $8,000.

In fact, even with the special plan, their rates are 75% to 100% higher than if you went to a dentist who is in private practice. And, apparently dentists are not subject to the Hippocratic Oath. These practitioners are in it only for the bread, even if they must imply that you need certain work done – when you really don’t.

Their work isn’t any better than that done by Joe Dentist down the street. The staff turnover – dentists and technicians alike – rivals a ghetto Taco Bell. In the period of one year, of the two dentists I saw there, both had “issues” that made them either unemployable anywhere else, or unable to maintain their own practice. They both looked as if they had been kicked-to-the-curb in a previous incarnation. I was astonished when the dentist performed the cleaning (I guess that is how they avoid hiring hygienists), and the twenty-something tech constructed and installed the crown on my tooth. They do have plenty of young airheads – with poor listening skills – taking X-Rays.

Bottom line – RUN AWAY from these corporate carpetbaggers. Providing quality dental care is not their first priority. Soaking you for as much as they can get from you is what Walnut Creek Dental Group (ant their parent corporation) is all about. Fleeing this office is like escaping from a shady car dealership.
