very bad experiece- still unresolved I had YG SERVICES do some work for me last winter, and was sorely disappointed with the work that they did and in their responsiveness deal with the subsequent problems that have arisen. YG SERVICES were asked to do a specific job, to repair my boiler. Rather than repairing the boiler at one time, in one visit, they stretched the job over several visits and billed me much more than I expected. Upon review of the invoices I realized that on a few occasions, when I knew that they came over for no more than 5 minutes because I had spoken with them upon arrival and when they left, they charged me a full 1 hour, at $130. One of these visits was in response to my call, as I was notified that water was pouring out of my boiler, which they had fixed, to the best of my knowledge. It turned out that they had only partially fixed it and they had left the valve open. When the heating came on, water came pouring out. I received a $500 bill from my building for damage to the unit below me. I approached YG SERVICES and they did not and have not to-date, responded. Additionally, YG SERVICES billed me $130 to go and close the valve that they had left open. Again, for not more than 5 minutes of their time, I was billed a full hour and this call was a direct result of something they had not done correctly. I have phoned YG SERVICES several times and have sent a letter to them asking them to respond to the damage, and also to explain their charges. I have not received any response. I have paid the full invoice, minus approximately two hours, which they continue to invoice me, and for which I am now accruing interest. YG SERVICES are expensive, dishonest, and non-responsive. It is a real shame that we do not have more options in the Hill. I will not use them again, and I certainly would not recommend them, under any circumstances
if you have a small plumbing job don't call them – These guys were supposed to come over today "between 10 am and noon." They said they were running late. At 3, they said they'd be over "around 4." I told them not to bother. Most of us work during the day, and taking a full day off to wait for the HVAC tech is not really a fun way to spend a day off. 4-6 hours late is not acceptable in any profession.
Honest, friendly and competent repair shop. Takes the time to really explain things about the car. No glitches with communication so I give them the full five stars no problem. I highly recommend them.
Showed up on time, got right to the problem, gave me choices of cost to fix the problem- we tried the cheapest way first and it worked! Honest, reliable, good attitude. 5 stars. I would recommend them to anyone especially for a drainage problem.

CONSUMER BEWARE, STAY AWAY FROM Y.G. SERVICES – this guy doesn't care about the customer at all. he only cares to make a quick and easy profit. we hired him last year to replace our kitchen sink and install dish washer in our investment property. before we even discussed the color of the top counter, he showed up with a on off-brown color of the top counter. everything else in our kitchen is either white or green, and the counter he produced was clashing with the other colors. i wanted to return that counter top and buy the color that i wanted, namely either green or white. but avi said he wouldn't refund the cost, and he argued that the color shouldn't mater to me, this being an investment property. also he said green was not available and if i insisted on white, i would have to eat the cost. in the end i had to pay an extra $190 to buy white. later it occurred to me that he perhaps had a left over from another job, or got it second hand on craigslist, but off course he wouldn't admit to that.
worst plumbing company ever – The owner of this company is banned from pulling permits in the city of boston. And don;t trust my word.... call the plumbing inspectors for the city of boston and ask them about Avi Golani. He has alternate plumbers use there license to pull permits. And all the reviews you are reading that supposedly praise there work are bogus reviews. Do your homework. Call the city and ask about them directly

Very helpful! – I had company from out of town to stay at our home a few months ago. Three days before they were coming in, the water heater just burnt out. It was really old so we knew it would happen at some point, the timing was just really bad. I was so grateful when a friend told me about Y.G. Services. The guys came the next day to install our new water heater, we only went 2 days without hot water. And I know its all in my head but I swear the water even tastes better.
