My (now) husband and I went to get mani/pedis before our rehearsal dinner. It was a way to be relaxed and have my nails done before the wedding. Both of our manicures were horrifingly bad. My nail beds literally stung from the cuticle cutting. His and my cuticles were in bad shape the next day (overdried and not at all moisturized). My gel manicure bubbled on the edges within 2 days. When I run my fingers through my hair, my hair gets caught in the lifted edges of the gels. When I called to ask for a refund or a repair, they told me they only guarantee it for 7 days. So calling the day after (despite being otherwise consumed with an important life event) was insufficient. I've never had such a bad manicure in my life. Anyone who looked at the gels would be appalled. Do not go to Posh. It is over priced, they do a bad job, and their management has horrible customer service.
DO NOT PLAN A PARTY HERE. We had a corporate event here for 9, made a reservation a week ahead of time, paid a 20% deposit, and when we showed up they could only seat 1 of us. It was about 40 minutes before we were all seated. When the event organizer called to complain the next day, the staffer said, "What are we supposed to do? Turn away walkins?" [That IS what a reservation is, right? What did we pay the 20% deposit for?] Then, the owner came on the line and lied and said it was because we changed them all to manicures at the least minute. We changed ONE to a manicure.
The perfect salon – The women who did my feet told me about some of the other services that they offer and the products that they use, and so I decided to get my eyebrows and lip waxed- It was really nice, it was quick and easy. it's the perfect salon in a great location.
I WILL BE BACK! I suggest you go! You will love it, I promise!
Great experience! – Well since I've moved to Dallas a year ago I have been looking for a salon that doesn't treat me like a walking dollar bill. So I was excited when I saw a new salon opening close to where I live. It took me a while to get down there but I finally went and had a great experience!
Amazing – The decor is amazing. Very clean, with white walls and floors, turquoise pillows and crystal lights...not to mention, the music was great and they had the flat screen TV on E! so I could check in on my celebs.
I recently moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a new salon to visit on a regular basis. I tried out 2 in the area and had a poor experience! When I went into posh the first thing that struck was how BEAUTIFUL it was not the typical nail salon decor. The other thing was the receptionist spoke perfect English! Which I love. It's always hard to break through the language barrier.
BAD! BAD! BAD! – I have been to Posh Nail Salon 3 times. The first time was a really good experience. It is a beautiful facility and I had Micheal do my nails. Micheal left then I had the owner do my nails and they looked great but, the cutting of the cuticles was very painful. I knew for sure any moment blood would squirt out and she would stop. They didn't bleed but, they throbbed for days. She also yelled and talked ugly to her staff the entire time I was receiving my service. The next time I went in I had another girl who did the gel nail for me. It lasted a whole 1 day and looked horrible and cost me $50.00. I Called the owner and left a message of what happened but, never received a call back. Since going there I have heard many people complain about their service and said the same things of the owner. I Would never recommend Posh Nail Salon to anyone!!!
I was seated quickly had a mani/pedi done and was talked into getting this OPI gel on my hands..... Victoria I think her name was took care of me, she did an amazing job! Every turned out GREAT!! It was they say my gel will last for 2 weeks so we will see. But I will definitely be going back!
