good meal, not so good service – fun atmosphere, tasty food most of the time, but the service definitely leaves something to be desired.

Best in the hood in my view – This place is all round solid. The people working here are nice, the decor is cool, huge fan of the location (it's at the end of my street!) The food is uniformly in the 80th to 90th percentile. Monday night burgers is deservedly mobbed. Burger and a beer for $10. Bargain indeed (with toppings it's a little more but who's counting). Brunch is super solid as are many of the main dishes I've ordered outside of the burger night. The drinks aren't bargains for sure (wine list included) but the pricing is far from egregious. Well done Watty, or Meg for this excellent neighbourhood offering with a general thread of good food, nice vibe and nice peeps. This place should be hollered at by anyone close - our pals from further afield who we take here were psyched about it. It's also good for those wanky city friends who schlep to Brooklyn expecting lugers or an italian with garlic knots and spicy meat-a-balls - hit them with this new american dopeness, sit back and watch.

Over priced, bland and full of attitude – If I could give 1/2 a star I would just for the deco, which to be honest isn't that great either. The food is bland, the menu is limited and the prices are extortionate for the neighborhood. I almost wanted to throw up after managing to get through 1/2 the chicken Milanese which was fatty, greasy and piled high with the kind of potato salad you by in pathmark. Service was poor with attitude to match. Also, a major pet peeve of mine is charging extra for sides but maybe that's just me. I have eaten better chicken Milanese at the Pizza place on my corner for 1/3 of the price. Nothing to see here. Please move on.

Citysearch Editorial Review – This cozy, 72-seat Cobble Hill gastropub invites the neighborhood stroller set in with its red brick walls, flickering candlelight and reclaimed oak church pews, which lend a warm and sophisticated vibe to this renovated space. The seasonal New American menu offers ambitious entrees, like lobster ravioli, trout wrapped in Serrano ham and a vegetable Wellington, to go along with comforting daily specials like cassoulet and a burger and beer combo, all made with a strong emphasis on local, seasonal produce, free-range birds and grass-fed beef.
