My sister's bday dinner – I just recently had my sister's bday dinner party at Juliet. We called ahead to make a reservation. The receptionist was nice enough to put together a prix fixe menu for us. THe pricing was really reasonable! We got there around 930pm and they had some performance during dinner...super cool! The food was amazing...try the lamb! Although my only complaint was the portion was a tad bit small. But a great NY scene.

Not necessarily the club's fault but, drink was spiked – I cannot comment on the food as I have never eaten here. I have been to Juliet twice in the latter evening.

In both cases I went with someone who is friends with the owners, had a table/bottle service/ etc. I would not recommend going without that kind of connect. The line was very long and the bouncers extremely rude.

That being said it has loud house music and go go dancers.. it is a club that works for certain clientele. Not for me but there were a lot of people you could tell that were very happy they were there.

As you can see I don't want to get into the details of the club and clientele. What I want to report is the day after I went to Juliet I went into my bag and saw a bottle of water I didn't recall I'd put in there. I often carry water though and it was the same brand I have at home so I thought it was mine. I went to drink some and immediately my mouth felt strange. I did not swallow but sort of sat there with the "water" in my mouth as I realized it tasted like poison. Once it clicked this was bad I spit it out. Thank God.

The "water" smelled like rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover combined. How someone managed to put a bottle of tainted water into my bag or taint water already in there I don't know. We had a table and were all kind of standing around it so whoever it was was very ballsy, very good at their game.

Point of this is-- if you go please please keep an eye on not just the drinks you are drinking but the drinks you have in your purse. My keys and wallet were still in there. I had not a thought someone could have been in it...

I called management to let them know to keep a look out. I haven't heard back yet but hope I will.

They need to know in case this starts becoming a regular event at the club---

Not good

THE WORST FOOD IN THE CITY – I ate at Juliet this week and I cannot understand how anyone could possibly eat anything at this place. I took my boyfriend out for his birthday with one of his friends from the office. The hostess at the front seemed actually shocked that we were paying for our meal and it took us a good 10 mins to explain we were not with a promoter,I assume they must make the place look busy with promoters.

Everything we ordered "sucked". I never use language like this but it is the only word I can use to describe the excuse for what they called food.

At one point during the meal we actually all started to laugh to ourselves as the food was so bad it became comical, when we complained to our waitress she actually rolled her eyes and smirked as if she knew how bad it was also!

I asked for a piece of bread to eat as i was still hungry which they do not have.

the real kick in the pants was the stomach pains we all suffered following the meal.

The dept. of health needs to look at that kitchen as something does not seem right, as we were all feeling sick and did not even really eat, since it was so edible.

go to Mcdonalds much better value.

Overpriced Meditteranean Restaurant/Lounge – I actually came here for a private party that is only open to a selected few. I was disappointed. This has a 80s disco look and feel decor but they are offering Mediterranean food? I got to try some skewers and a selection of hummus with their pita chips. Hummus was good but nothing special.

The skewers were just OK. I looked at the regular menu on the table and they serve shwarma sandwich for $10!?! I could just go to mamoun's for no more than $5 and I bet it tastes better there too.

Drinks here are pretty good but they are expensive as well. I don't know how to like this place. I feel like it was sandwiched by self-storage stores from outside and inside is the decor is interesting but does not fit the cuisine it serves.

I won't come back here.

Worst Place Ever - DO NOT GO HERE – This place is one of the worst venues in New York. First, it gets ridiculously over packed with some of the ugliest people I have ever seen. Besides the fact that I had to wait while a bunch of dudes who weren’t even getting bottle service went in front of me while I was waiting we 2 gorgeous blonde girls, the door staff is absolutely unprofessional and mind less.

The door staff show no respect to other people in the business, other clubs owners or well known promoters. They are the kind of people who were picked on and now want to return the hatred onto others. With the way they look, I wouldn’t even let them into my club.

I would not suggest this venue for anyone for any night of the week.

Great food, GRABBY and RUDE Bouncers!!!! – Three of us went here for a friend's Bachelorette party last Saturday, Feb 6. We had a wonderful dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and the waiter was super friendly and not annoying.

The worst part happened at the bar after we were done with dinner and were moved to the bar to continue our evening. Some bouncer for no reason started pushing me when I was trying to take a picture of my friends. He said I was in the way of people trying to get to the restrooms. Really? It takes 10 sec to take a picture and no one was walking at that time. When I asked him to stop touching me, he GRABBED ME BY MY WRISTS and started threatening to walk me and my friends out. I told him that we're not bothering anyone and he should let me go. He would NOT let go of my arms!!!!! I asked him why he was doing that and he claimed that I was too drunk! REALLY???? I'm at the bar! We were celebrating! None of us was too drunk. We were all still on our feet, not swaying, and we were not bothering anyone. Then, another bouncer came over and was asking what happened. I asked to have my wrists freed and the douchebag wouldn't let me go!

My fiend asked for the manager who visited us at the table during dinner. The manager came over and told the bouncer to go away and sent him to another corner. HOW CRAZY is that????? The bouncers need to be told by a manager to behave!!! RIDICULOUS!!!

This is all after we spent $500 on dinner!!! I am NEVER going back to this place!

too crowded! – i am a seasoned NY club goer and i was really excited when i heard about juliet. unfortunately it did not live up to everything i had heard. the guy at the door was ridiculously rude and my friends had a table that night. i've been to marquee and greenhouse and we've never had an issue getting in. we finally got in and it was so crowded that we could barely move. even at our table!! i do admit the venue is gorgeous but you can't even enjoy it with the people pushing you around. a little crowd control would be nice!

Citysearch Editorial Review – Sometimes when a nightlife impresario like Jon B (Greenhouse, Home) teams up with a celebrity chef like Todd English (of Olives at the W Hotel), the results can be magical. Such is the case at Juliet Supperclub, a sleek, chic restaurant-nightclub hybrid in Chelsea (obvi). The exclusive and elaborate spot, which offers a full menu of Mediterranean-inspired fare, is decorated with a floor-to-ceiling gold mirrored mosaic that evokes a disco ball-inspired fantasy. Naturally, it attracts the top tier of the New York glitterati, who are less interested in dining than partying after the meal. And party they will--the fabulous space, with its opulent decor and impressive sound system, inspires Studio 54-calibur excess.
