Not Worth Your Time – So many great places in San Francisco... and this isn't one of them. Location (near the wharf) will probably keep this place going and nothing else. Service was poor and management is certainly disinterested in the customer experience. I'm sure the gentleman that wrote the previous review found the staff to be friendly and professional because the corporation throwing the event was dropping a wad of cash on the place.

Really Impressed ! – I went there for a corporate event last week and we had a great time. The lounge was a comfortable place to grab a cocktail before our event. The staff was friendly and professional. After our event was over the club got packed with a good looking crowd.

There are much better places in SF... – I would give it NO stars, but that is not an option.

In the 30 minutes I waited to get into this overhyped hybrid bar/club here is what I observed outside: 1) a shreeking fire alarm going off and no one doing anything about it, 2) aggressive and even violent bouncers who forcefully pushed girls out of the way of the door (knocking one to the ground) and slammed a door ON one guy's face, and 3) a guest list with no one on it. DO NOT ORDER A TABLE OR BOTTLE SERVICE AT THIS PLACE. Your guests will not be allowed in without paying $20 each no matter how much you spent. I was just happy to make it in alive.

And when I got inside things were no better. A scratchy sound system - sounded like the sub-woofers had been blown. Watery/expensive drinks and broken, overflowing toilets.

The only good part about the place: clientele wasn't half bad, but that will change if they continue to treat their customers like this.

Citysearch Editorial Review – The Parlor is to Bourbon and Branch as Anna Nicole is to Marilyn Monroe: similar concept, but far less interesting than the original. For example, Craft and classic cocktails? Check. Staff garbed in prohibition-era costumes? Check. The Parlor even has a "library room" with a secret door covered in fake books. The amenities not seemingly cribbed from the Bourbon and Branch playbook--and starkly incongruent with the speakeasy theme--are the DJ'd dance floor, and flatscreen-equipped booths. Unfortunately, the cocktails aren't made with the expertise of the veteran bartenders at B&B, and it just feels like a theme park. But then again this is Fisherman's Wharf, and it’s unlikely that anyone will notice the difference.
