Truly Gifted Healer – Immediately Merri's delightful presence comforts and welcomes you for true healing experience. Through massage, Merri is simply the best. She has a soothing touch that melts your stress away while her balanced technique provides a true therapeutic experience that has lasting benefits.

Merri's gifts go beyond the healing touch of massage. Merri is able to connect with you on many different levels. On an energetic level, Merri is able to help you shift your level of being, through the connection of attunement. I find myself more centered and with a more balanced awareness after visiting with Merri.

I can't say enough about Merri. She has a wonderful nature. Her presence and energy are uplifting and she seems to be in perfect balance. I am very impressed with this truly gifted healer.

Thanks Merri for friendship and your gift.

Simply Amazing – We wanted to take a minute and let you know how highly we value the amazing work you do and the positive impact it has on our lives. Before moving, we had mixed success in finding a good massage therapist. You've gone far beyond our highest expectations with the massage aspect of your work, but that's only a small part of what you've done for us. Every appointment is a "therapeutic event" where we have to expand all ideas about what we considered possible for us in Mind, in Body, and in Spirit. The various healing techniques you are able to bring into a session have made a significant change in our health, happiness, and quality of life. You're amazing!

Gifted, Caring & Professional – If you are looking for one of those 'run of the mill' factory massages....then DO NOT CALL MERRI!!! LOL!

If you are looking for someone to help you become a more radiant human being.....BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH MERRI this minute!!!!

I have had professional massages done all around the world while traveling on business.....from London to Tahiti and no one has approached the whole body concept of massage like Merri. There is no comparison. Period!

Genuine Care and Countless Benefits – As a professional writer on medical issues, I'm skeptical about health claims not only by non-traditional medicine, but hospitals and MDs as well. I want quantifiable results before I believe anything. Merri Isom made no claims when I first became a client of her massage therapy practice. She just dealt with the immediate aches that my accelerated exercise program had caused.

However, I found that Merri is much more than a massage therapist. Each session, we talked about my particular health issues and she slowly began offering ideas for dealing with them. Non-massage ideas. Something I had never expected when I first walked in.

So, bottom line, here are my results. Not long ago, I suffered my first attack of gout, a painful joint inflammation caused by a build-up of uric acid in the blood. Merry didn't just suggest I drink more water; she handed me a water bottle every time I arrived. Result: In two weeks, my gout-sensitive feet hurt far less and I was able to discontinue prescription gout medication. Two months later, my joints feel much better. I have a device that measures my body's water content; I now average three percent greater water content than before Merri persuaded me to change this basic behavior.

She suggested I try an ancient Indian practice called "oil swishing." This involves daily swishing of a tablespoon of sesame seed or sunflower oil in my mouth for 20 minutes. The oil is supposed to draw out bacteria and parasites from teeth and gums. Various sources claim a wide range of beneficial results in fighting disease. (My own research on heart disease shows a definite link between the bacteria that cause tooth decay and gum disease and arterial blockages that cause heart attacks.) In my case, within a week, I noticed a significant reduction in tooth sensitivity, something which has been a problem for me for at least ten years. I stopped using Sensodyne. Whether other diseases are prevented by this procedure doesn't matter to me. My teeth are far less sensitive.

A third result is something I cannot explain. For all of my life, I have had severe hay fever. From August until the first frost, I suffer every year: itchy eyes, sneezing to the point of nose bleeds, clogged ears, coughing, and endless phlegm. Doesn't matter whether it's a dry or wet summer. I began sessions with Merri in July. When allergy season hit, I experienced only minor symptoms. It's now late September and my allergy symptoms are almost nonexistent. The only explanation I can think of is that massage releases endorphins into the bloodstream. Endorphins don't just make you feel good and reduce pain, they also stimulate the immune system. Has this increase in endorphin production made my immune system better able to fight off the allergens that cause my hay fever? I have never previously had routine massage therapy and I have always had severe hay fever. The one summer I begin regular massage therapy, I have the weakest allergy symptoms of my life. Go figure.

Notice that everything I've discussed so far is about benefits other than the immediate pleasurable sensations of a skillful massage? But in that context, Merri is an excellent massage therapist. She brings a quiver of different arrows with which to attack a problem: various massage techniques, acupressure, Quantum Touch, and things I don't even know the names of.

She's genuinely interested in improving the overall health of her clients. I'm losing weight and feeling healthier and happier thanks to her suggestions and encouragement. My only regret is not having known about massage therapy - and Merri - earlier in my life.

I am wife, mother, and a teaching assistant for a preschool. I spend my days cleaning my house, chauffeuring my kids ,and playing with the 3 year olds in my classroom. I know many of you may think there is not a lot of physical excursion in what I do, but to the contrary. I am constantly moving in ways that leave my body in knots at the end of the day. Not to mention the stress of managing a house on top of working. I have been to several massage therapists, and Merri is the only one who put me in a relaxed state before beginning my massage. She has a very calm demeanor, and positive energy. I can't tell you enough how wonderful, and relaxed I felt afterward. I would recommend her to any one of my friends.

Thank you Merri – I thought that being a 280 lb weight lifter would pose some concern for Merri, but to my surprise she handles me with confidence and a sense of ease. Her technique is unmatched and her touch is effective beyond the 1 1/2 hour session. I am a fitness trainer, photographer and photo finisher- which means my body is not only fatigued from strenuous work-outs but is also stiff and tight from hours of computer work and the physical demands of my sessions of photography. Far beyond what I expected, Merri has invented a way to transport me to a place of release, serenity and enlightenment by means of an array of massage techniques tailored to my specific needs.

Whole heartedly Recommended! – As a touring musician living on the road I end up spending a lot of nights sleeping on couches, floors, and whatever is around, not to mention the endless hours of sitting in a van on the way to a show. After a long tour, I generally develop nagging back pain as well as a lot of stress in my upper shoulders. I started seeing massage therapists a few years ago when the problems got more serious with carpal tunnel. I've been to several different therapists and have never been more impressed then I am by Merri's talent. What she does with "Quantum Touch" as well as massage is simply amazing! I have never felt so centered and relaxed before! Also with a combination of a few sessions and stretching on my own my carpal tunnel hasn't flared up since. I would and do recommend her whole heartedly to anyone.
