Their breakfast burritos is amazing because it's loaded with huge avocados, lots of eggs and bacon. Perfect semi healthy meal for the weekend brunch dates.

Very sceney, trendy place for the 20-something crowd, but without the pretension. The cocktails are pretty good, and the menu is accessible. Try the short rib tacos on the happy hour. There's a discreet photo booth near the big booths off the patio.

Great Neighborhood Spot! – From the outside it's hard to tell that this place is jumping on the inside which is why I've always just passed it by. My friend wanted to meet there for drinks so I was happy to check it out and so glad that I did. The drinks are good and reasonably priced - $8 sugar free redbull and grey goose. They had a late night menu with a $13 short rib grilled cheese (mozzarella, american & cheddar served with roasted tomato soup)

that was perfection. Of course we couldn't pass up the yummy $8 sweet potato fries. There was a dj at 10pm and the crowd got progressivly louder so if you like it on the quieter side then you should go for happy hour.

As packed as the place was you would think that the staff would have a stressed out attitude but this wasn't the case. The bartender was very nice, Travis our waiter couldn't have been more friendly, and even the big door guy told us to have a great night.

Will definitely return :)

The Hudson Is Awesome – Sometimes, a bro just wants to bro down. Get down on a great happy hour. Eat some appys (I call appetizers appys.) Anyways, the service is chill, but the menu is re-donk-ulous! Were talking the basics and beyond:Ahi - BAM. Grilled Cheese - Wha-Cha! Short Rib Tacos - Whack! Take that palette! All good stuff, bro,

Long story short, the bar is an old train, and there are trees inside of it, so it's awesome. Good crowd, great tunes, check it out if you haven't, bro.

I'll be back!!! – Met up with John81 and his fiancee at the Hudson to catch the SugarBowl. Inviting atmosphere and staff. Great Happy Hour and the menu was decent. The chairs suck, but other than that and the picture of the freak next to the featured contributor (I mean c'mon I wouldn't even accept directions out of Compton from this clown let alone a recommendation on a dining experience) it was a delightful experience.

Awsome Restuarant , Bar & Lounge – This place is awesome. People who review leave bad reviews probably should not be going out to fun spots in West Hollywood.

It is chill with great food and a nice happy hour. They play good music and have t.v and always have a game on. There tons of lounge space and have great small bites- mac and cheese rocks.

Great beers on tap and specialty drinks Very chill atmosphere and good service.

Hudson SUCKS!!! – Wassup Guys,

Me & two girlfriends went to the hudson on Sat. Night to celebrate my b.f.'s promotion. We were so excited at first but our mood quickly soured. We had planned to "do it up" (3 course meal each, btl of bubbly/white, etc.) but this douchebag waiter completely f**ked it up. Can't remember his name but he was a rude, white, balding, smelly dude w/a poor excuse for a goatee. He ignored us for like 25 minutes, then completely messed up not only our drinks but food orders as well. At some point during the first course the idiot came back and said they were out of several dishes we had ordered like 20 minutes before. We were over it at that point, so we asked for the manager (Royce) who NEVER SHOWED! Frustrated we walked down to Hamburger Mary's down the street and had a blast!!! THE HUDSON SUCKS ASS!!! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK & WE WILL TELL ALL OUR STUDIO FRIENDS TO STAY AWAY.

Letter to Owner - hey douchbag, either sale your "restaurant" to someone who knows W.T.F. they're doing... or fired u entire staff and hire a REAL MANAGER & CHEF! YOU'RE IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS MORON! ACT LIKE IT!!!!!!

Worse Service EVER!!! – Hi All, please read this whole article for the COP STORY at the end. It's hilarious!

My girlfriend and I (both professionals) live in the neighborhood and have gone to the Hudson many times b4. The service has never been what you call great but we've always let that go because it's a cool, convenient little dive. That was until this past Sat. (9/4/10) afternoon. I arrived ahead of my girlfriend who was running late. The place was semi-busy and completely under staffed. After waiting 10 minutes to be greeted at the lounge (no hostess on duty), I went to the bar and ordered a beer. The bartender was great but no one else seem to really care. The manager (royce), waiter (cameron), hostess (finally showed but clueless), busboy (dancing everywhere) could really care less. Even Gordon Ramsey couldn't help this place.

30 minutes had now pasted without even a "Hello." I went back to the bar, got another beer, asked for a waiter, waved cameron over etc., but he was to busy laughing and sneaking shots at his friend's table (which was right next to mine, btw) than actually work. When cameron did finally come over he basically called me a lair when I told him I was there for 30 minutes waiting for service. "Oh, really? You been here that long? I didn't see you. What time did you get here again? Well, why didn't you just wave me over dude if you wanted something?"

When I reminded him that he's the waiter/employee not me... that it's his JOB to service the customers... he got offended and told me to "GET OUT OF MY F***ING RESTAURANT." I asked for the manager but cameron said if i didn't leave HIS RESTAURANT, he'd call the COPS! As I spoke with the manager, CAMERON ACTUALLY CALLED THE COPS! NICE RIGHT?! I was NOT unruly or drunk so the cops DID NOT arrest me. They actually left within 5 minutes. Cop knew it was a complete waste of his time.

The young "manager" Royce (who's completely out of his depth & acting in self-preservation mode) could have defused the whole situation by apologizing for the misunderstanding but instead decided to side with his incompetent, rude, borderline drunk employee and wash his hands clean of the situation. I've since called to speak to the owners but given that royce is always taking the messages, I'm not gonna hold my breath that I'll get a call back.

Moral of the story - AVOID THIS "RESTAURANT" AT ALL COSTS!

ONE STAR IS EVEN TO HIGH
