Shelter Lounge

Some people may be satisfied with the standard sports bar atmosphere and bland pub food, but for the discerning Seattleite, there's Shelter Lounge, a Ballard bar and restaurant that defies easy categorization. When to Go:: Check the daily happy hour from 4pm to 6pm for appetizers and sandwiches starting at $3, plus drink specials.
Where to Sit:: Whether it's raining or not, take a seat on the "patio," a lovely semi-enclosed space at the front of the lounge that has full access to the bar and an outdoor fireplace.

Amazing indoor AND outdoor drinks and eats

I just spent a super cold evening outside on the covered deck, thanks to outdoor heaters and a fireplace. What a bonus during our winter months! The service is good, the menu has yet to let me down...I have tried almost everything so far! Just what the ballard crowd ordered!
