Citysearch Editorial Review – The Dana Hotel has abandoned wallet-draining Kobe beef by the ounce, but kept the seasonal pan-Asian focus at its retooled street-level restaurant. Chic local couples, colleagues and hotel guests are equally likely to be spotted sharing five-spice braised short ribs or crispy whole fish with black bean and fish sauce in the contemporary, multi-textured dining room. The suspended second-level sushi bar has been repurposed as the Snak-Bar, serving sustainable seafood in many multicultural variations; Japanese sashimi and maki show up alongside Latin-inspired coconut-lime seviche and Italian crudo. The budget-friendly lunch menu features scaled-back versions of dinner dishes, plus Vietnamese banh mi-style baguette sandwiches including a chile chicken salad creation topped with tangy pickled veggies.

If you can't make it to chinatown because of the distance and the location, head over to aja for a great alternative. the dishes are just as good if not better than some of the restaurants that I frequent in chinatown.

best fried rice – very good food with interesting twist on asian cuisine. Fried rice has mushrooms and lima beans. 18 ingredient salad was huge with mint leaves and pommegranite stayed crisp for leftover the next day at lunch. batter and seasoning on sesame chiken was light and flavorful. Big fish is served whole with light batter. it fell off the bone. Great asain beers that complimented asian cuisine really well.
