Great Lunch Special!! – Great lunch special. A ramen with a very generous side dish. The price is economical, but food is definitely worth more than its price.

Good Ramen – May Chan Ramen is actually run by Koreans so I know their ramen is not going to be very authentic before I even got there.

I tried their spicy seafood ramen and it was good! I figured they would definitely make it spicy here and the texture of the noodles is just right.

It was weird though they didn't turn the AC on while it was scorching outside and we had to ask them. Also, they have hand-written menu on one wall but you could not find it on the menu, which made it very hard to order.

Otherwise, this is a cheap and decent ramen spot.

Citysearch Editorial Review – In recent years the East Village has become the city’s go-to neighborhood for ramen. Nope, not the instant kind, but the authentic, handmade kind, featuring sinuous floating noodles in a hearty broth with your choice of meat, chicken, fish or vegetables. On one side of the dark-wood restaurant is a ramen bar, where you can sit and watch the chefs do their thing; on the other are communal tables, with benches and big bunches of chopsticks. The restaurant definitely takes its name seriously, serving exactly what it says; in addition to a wide array of ramen, charcoal-grilled robatayaki (skewers) of veggies and different types of meat are also available.
