La Vida at Sunday – La Vida is a sleek upscale venue where stars and models mingle. Yes there often is a cover, however you can always contact your promoter for free or discount if they are able to do so. This was a venue where I ran into Ja Rule at, while searching for my friends at the bar.

Hey everyone..Aaron Productions LLC is doing a Red Carpet Fashion Show with beautiful swimwear designer clothing this Sunday at La Vida in Hollywood @ 10pm. It is a Mardi Gras party hosted by Kevontay Jackson. Please contact me with your first and last name. It is a VIP ticketed event and I got vip tickets! call Lucky Smith @ 626.217.3919

Used to be fun – I'm good friends with the owner of this venue so this review might be biased.

This is one of those venues that has great pictures. I mean the pictures of the venue looks much better than the actual venue. I've never had a meal there but I'm guessing the food is good since the owner is a 20 yrs restaurant veteran.

I was one of the promoters that launched this venue on Fridays. It was a great night, we had all kinds of celebs come out in their jeans and PJs to hang out. This was the spot I had my first conversation with Mel Gibson.

Well Fridays lasted only 6 months and then it was replaced by urban promoters...yikes. Saturdays was good for a while but now its packed with randoms but still the best night to go there. Avoid Fridays at all cost.

Make sure you get on a guest list on Saturdays otherwise you will have to pay $20 and wait in some long ass line.

Fridays at La Vida have become the "see and be seen" night – FRIDAYS AT LA VIDA HOLLYWOOD...

redefining true Hollywood nightlife!

with Dj Five Star in main room spinning hip hop, top 40s, rock and more!

...and rotating celebrity house & trance djs in our back exclusive vip room!

hitting capacity and seling out every table at La Vida EVERY Friday at an hour even surprising to us promoters! (At 11:45pm there was probably over 200-300ppl standing out front waiting and hoping to get in!)

The only way you're going to get in this hot spot is by getting "dressed to impress" -

Mini breakdown of Fridays at La Vida Hollywood includes…

• Newest luxurious Hollywood night club

• 2 rooms, 2 dance floors

• 4 professionally staffed, full bars

• Private VIP lounge areas

• VIP booths and tables

• Heated outdoor smoking patio

• Amazing lighting effects & laser show

• Multiple deejays...

• Hip Hop, House, Top-40

• New top of the line sound system

• Sexy GO-GO dancers!

• Valet parking

Music is by deejay Five Star, spinning hip hop rock 80s funk old school with some house mixed into the music (but very little). Everyone loves our deejay and once you hit the dance floor, you probably won’t leave (lol). We also have a second DJ on additional dance floor, which is rotated weekly with visiting deejays spinning everything from house to hip hop and even occasionally trance music.

Great service – I went to La Vida on a tuesday night and the restaurant wasn't very crowded. I was excited to try the mediterranean dishes but the waiter informed me that they completely changed their menu recently so I tried one of their new mexican dish Fajitas Tres Amigos Combination. It was good, well cooked and well seasoned and I had a flan for dessert which was absolutely delicious.

The service was great; our server was friendly and very attentive (but not overwhelming).

The place is just beautiful and nicely decorated; we had a table inside but I definitively want to go back for happy hour/drinks and to enjoy their gorgeous outdoor patio.

Your Guest List Girl – La Vida is a very cool new spot that took over an old restaurant on sunset and gower. I've been here on Friday nights and I think it's a great spot to hit before going out/if not the entire night. It's never been too packed but it's new so they do keep a tight door.

Citysearch Editorial Review – From the same team that brought well-known Hollywood nightspots such as the Green Door and the Cabana Club, La Vida raises the stakes on Sunset Boulevard with this gorgeously designed supper club-esque space on the corner of Sunset and Gower. The restaurant weaves into five separate areas, including a lush open-air patio, a reception bar with twinkling tuquoise glass tile, a main dining room softly lit by a canopy of hand-blown glass and a glittery gold fireplace, and two rear lounges where VIPs can reserve a table and enjoy private views of the dance floor. Executive chef Joseph Panarello (formerly of Rivera) turns out delicious Spanish-tinged dishes for both lunch and dinner. Highlights include a juicy tagine-roasted chicken with mushrooms and potato spaghetti, several different paellas including a clam-chorizo-cilantro version and Champagne-braised branzino. There are also plenty of small bites--tuna ceviche with tarot root, tofu with black bean and hummus dressing--for those who prefer to simply lounge and enjoy the scene while sipping on well-crafted cocktails.
