Food Perfection and Affordable – I am more comfortable eating pasta and burgers usually but a couple of friends wanted to meet at this place in Brooklyn... Where is Brooklyn again? Ok so I found it and I was blown away by the food.
This place is amazing! We sampled a half dozen dishes and everything I tasted was better than the last. The ambiance was very nice and comfortably elegant and the service was top notch. This is the perfect place to take a date for a romantic evening feeding each other and yet just as great for a group of friends to sit as we did in the courtyard and talk and laugh and eat for hours.
This was the best meal I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. It was exceptional!
Palmyra is worth the trip to Brooklyn from anywhere on the East Coast! Enjoy!
Really good food! – Came here for brunch with 10 friends and the food was so delicious (I even took All the leftovers because I couldn't bear to see any of it go to waste). We ordered a whole bunch of stuff off the menu. I think we had beet salad, hummus, yogurt, grape leaves, potato, chicken, zaater bread, garlic bread, cous cous, tilapia, the most amazing lamb pizza pizza and scrumptious kibbeh balls too!! And then we saved just enough room for dessert so we could have yummy homemade sorbet with baklava, strawberry lemonade, turkish coffee, and delicious pistacchio ice cream. This place was sooo good. I just can't wait for it to get warmer so I can take advantage of the seating area out back and sit outside with my friends next time.
Food is great, Price is Excellent – I walked into this place around 5pm on a Saturday and it was nice and not crowded, just a few small families. I never had such good, fresh tasting pizza with lamb on it before, and on whole wheat too. I ordered a couple cold mezze plates to try as well like the foul beans, hummus, beet salad and I finished it all. For dessert I had some Turkish coffee and pistachio ice cream which was delicious! On top of that, the service was really good, the waiters were really polite. This is a nice little restaurant to come back to, maybe bring a date to or bring your family to kind of thing. Either way, definitely try the pizza! lol Either way, the best part is that I had really good food and it wasn't expensive.
Food was Fresh and Fantastic! – I am so thrilled I found this place by accident while walking in brooklyn. My date and I sat down for a Saturday dinner, and we were lucky because the place was packed. The decor is lovely and it turns out we were greeted and seated by the actual owner.
We ended up devouring every single thing we ordered! Oh my God! The food here was so good, it all just tasted so fresh, I couldn't believe it. I've had good Mediterannean food, but this had to have been 1 of the best experiences! We had Labne, Tabouleh, Foul, Humus, Moujadarra, Beet Salad, Lamb kebab, Kibbeh balls which were so good, and Safiha. My favorite was the delicious, mouth-watering Safiha pizza with lamb and for only $8! By the time we had baklava and creme puffs and turkish coffee for dessert, we were so stuffed! I really liked this place and I would definitely recommend it!
