Citysearch Editorial Review – This experimental German vintage boutique (translation “world citizen”) at the cusp of Los Feliz and Silver Lake feels like a breath of fresh air. Not just because approachable owner Bryan doesn't fall prey to the one-must-act-like-Mugatu-if-one-is-into-fashion trap, but because, as an actual world citizen, he is devoid of pretense and full of cool ideas--mainly about how to infuse the quirky space (the front steps are set apart from the actual storefront by a patio) with extremely well-priced, avant-garde vintage frocks, tops, dresses, pants and accessories. Along with business partner Maximilian, Bryan offers uber-cool pieces that are priced according to what they're really worth, not some inflated sense of value. There are plenty of accessories to ogle as well, from a rope belt affixed with deer antlers and red high-waisted pleated pants to an Aztec ethno plate gold necklace and white Valentino flats. The stock is currently leaning ‘80s with bold prints and geometric shapes, OP-reminiscent jersey tees, silky black dresses and well-cut pants for men and women.
