staff here sucks – This bar is in a great location with good decor, but is very unfortunately staffed.
Bartender was clueless and could not make us their 'specialty cocktail.' and had no idea how to use register to ring us out. Security was also letting in large groups of what were very obviously high school students.
ehhh...its nice – Always thought this was actually in the empire state building. Its not. But it was still cool. Not worth the expenasive drinks. I would go somewhere else if I was looking to go to a classy place
Citysearch Editorial Review – Cocktail swilling befitting the grandeur of the Empire State Building is what you’ll find inside the massive, impressive Art Deco-style Empire Room. This lobby-level cocktail bar offers a swanky scene--tuxedoed bar staff mix complex, pricey cocktails like the Prohibition Punch (made with rum, champagne and passion fruit juice), which hearken back to another era, while waitresses in little black dresses and pearls serve up tasty treats like truffled popcorn.
