Very expansive service is not that good – I received a very high quote from Prime Vanlines and decide to go with them after reading good reviews about their company.
The service wasn
No no no !!! – I had a very bad experience with Prime van lines.
I did some research about them and they seemed find, also the representative on the phone sounded very professional.
And this is a big BUT when the move started I realized I choose the wrong company to move me
The movers that came barley speak English and it was hard to have a basic communication with them, they were tired and didn
This appears to be a fake review intended to lower our rating.
We could not confirm that a person named "Veinberg" had used our services. Moreover, a few days ago exactly the same review was posted under name "Shirly L." on another review site, with the same user submitting 2 reviews for different moving companies on the same day .
We have reported the review and the reviewer to Citysearch for further investigation.
My First Move – This was the first time I moved without any family helping me- the Crew was excellent!!Carlos and his Crew were Very efficient and moved my things with care- not a scratch on anything. The price was firm and stayed as promised. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if I have to move
Comeone !!! – Prime cancelled my move 2 days before the pickup due to `over booking? !!!!
I paid them $400 down payment and now I am stuck !!!!!!!!!
It?s just not fair they decided to cancel my move, I have to 2 days to find another company?and I booked with them a month ago , very mad and disappointed !
Dont let the BBB record fool you !! – We had one damaged item, though that was not the concern. The company insisted that they would be sending ONLY their own employees to unpack our things, despite the fact that we had evidence from the driver that they would be hiring workers here. They deliberately lied to us. The people who they hired in were idiots and so unprofessional , and broke a lamp off of the front of our new house. The driver immediately tried to tape (!!) the lamp back onto the house, he was rude and un pleasant.
The company had not attempted to limit liability for damage to our house, but continued to insist we use their outsourced claims department for the damage to the house. The claims department was not authorized to give us replacement value - only 60 cents per pound of the broken item. Finally, we resorted to the BBB, which they resented (and told us so), but they did finally offer to pay for the lamp. However, they insisted we had no evidence that they caused the damage - despite a written statement from their own driver and pictures taken by their own driver. STAY AWAY.
Horrible Experience – I just used Prime for a move cross-country. I could go on and on but I'll sum it up by saying that our stuff arrived 26 days after it was picked up--we were told it would take 5-10 days.
We were promised 5 wardrobe boxes. They showed up with one and threw the rest of our hanging clothes in boxes, which arrived in a tangled mess, wrinkled, one dress torn.
Everything they packed (pictures/art) was damaged in some way. Every picture frame was dented or scratched. One picture had broken glass, one mirror was broken.
Worst of all, a very valuable antique chair arrived with a broken leg and crushed back--the upholstery on the back was torn it was pushed in so hard.
Halfway through our stuff being delivered, I noticed 6-7 boxes in the house that were not ours. I had to tell the moving guys about it and they moved them out. While they were unpacking our stuff I noticed them standing on top of someone else's dining room table.
I made it clear that anything that said "bedroom" on the box should go upstairs and of course that didn't happen. So we had to move most of the stuff upstairs ourselves.
Just a really, really bad experience--they did not take good care of our stuff at all.
Great Move In NYC – I just Used Prime for My Move from the Upper East side to Long Island City,First i would like to Mention Carlos and his Crew that moved me from a 3rd floor no elevator on very very hot day this past July and did excellent job without any attitude or Damages.
Sandor the Estimator that came to my apartment for a pre move inspection was very knowledgeable and provided me with a Binding quote that did not changed in the end of the move.
All I have to say is that i had a very positive experience moving with Prime, and for my next move i would surely contact Prime.
Big disappointment – The office was friendly with the initial setup. When the actually works came by. We had to remind them as they were leaving to box up the bathroom items and the laundry room. They rushed to do everything but it's not our fault we had a 3 bedroom house.
They sent an estimator to visit the house for a
Trustworthy and Reliable, I recommend! – Just read the previous review and does not make sense as we can't believe it's the same moving company. We just got our personal belongings delivered by Prime Van Lines to our new home in Paramus, NJ (large 4 bdrm house full) from Atlanta, GA. and would like to say that we only dealt with extreme professionalism and top notch service from start to finish. Everyone we became acquainted with (estimator, customer service, movers) were very polite, helpful and accommodating. The movers worked hard and made sure that none of our valuables as well as our mountain of accumulated family junk were undamaged through the move. Thank you for the great service!! We definitely believe you guys know what you are doing and would like to recommend you to all prospective customers who are looking for a solid and reliable moving company.

Pathetic Service – I don't how to give zero stars. Else I would have done that.
Worst experience with these movers. Estimation wrong.service bad . I end paying more coz these guys hide many charges. Example. they didn't tell me that there could be shuttle service. They brought 18 wheeler truck in front of my apartment complex. How the hell 18 wheeler truck fits in apartment.
then I have to pay extra 300 bucks for shuttle else they will leave my stuff on road ( thats what their driver said).
And more over their drivers are RUDE. I was about to call 911. My Stuffs were broken and he blamed me instead. And then didn't give me signed copy. I had to run after him .
I am still in trauma.
TOTALLY NOT WORTHY
