Good food, tiny portions, noisy, ripoff – I have to admit most of the food was good. There was only one item that found was not good, However, the portions were tiny even by the standards of Tapas (go to Tango instead). Also the place was very noisy. People at both tables beside us had to talk real load so they could hear each other. What was really irritating was that asked for some bread to supplement the serving for the Prawns for the sauce and they charged $2 without telling us for four very thin slices of bread. I did not see bread on the menu. This is just too damn cheap considering how much they charge for very little food anyway.

Euorpean Patio – While visiting from out of state, we went to Pintxo for a late dinner. We were seated on the private patio with soft lighting, surrounded by brick walls. It was easy to imagine we were dining in Europe. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing. There are many menu choices and daily specials. We ordered several items including the delicious salt cod fritters. I also loved the shreded pork sliders. They were served on fresh delicious rolls and the spices enhanced the outstanding flavor. Be sure to try one of the creative cocktails or the white sangria. We were so impressed we went back for drinks and appetizers two nights later. This time we sat inside where the atmosphere is stylish and cozy. We loved the energy and vibe and will return on our next Seattle visit.

Citysearch Editorial Review – This Belltown small-plates spot defies easy categorization. The menu is an eclectic but sophisticated mix of Spanish, Italian, Northwestern and Southwestern influences--equal parts gastropub and wine bar. The focus here is on presentation, from floor-to-ceiling shelves displaying wine, liquor and dry ingredients to artistic food arrangement, right down to dainty appetizer forks. Dishes are cheap enough that you’ll want to order several to take full advantage of the wide cuisine offered: try the prosciutto sandwich with olive spread, manchego cheese and red peppers or the bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese. Their house-made sangria is infused with fresh fruit and is only $6.50 (and even cheaper during happy hour, from 4pm-7pm), though the creative cocktail menu is worth the splurge. Good prices on high-quality food and drinks make Pintxo ideal for a date or as a first stop for a night out in Belltown.

Awesome cocktails, Amazing Duck, Great Appetizers – We held a rehearsal dinner here for my brother's wedding. Cory (the owner) and the rest of the staff were phenomenal at attending to all the details, including getting some great flowers for decorations, creating some customized cocktails named after the bride and groom, and creating some amazing dinner dishes including a 6-8 hour preparation-time duck dish, and many others, of which I don't even know the names. Also, their homemade bread was so addictive, we ended up asking for fourths and fifth servings of the bread. Their Sangria was excellent, too. BTW, we had a party of 40, so we had the whole place to ourselves from 6-9 PM on a Friday night.

They are also in the process of setting up a separate "party room" above the restaurant for private parties. I will definitely go back again. Finally, they have happy hour daily from 4-6 PM with $2-$4.50 drink specials.

Amazing cocktails & food on the coziest patio in Seattle – I love the atmosphere here, candles flickering on every table, candles in the window panes, fresh flowers. The music is loud enough where everyone cannot hear your conversation, but quiet enough where you can still easily carry on a converse with your dining partner.

I love the patio, I wish I could replicate it at my place. It is nestled between two exposed brick walls and has propane heaters for those chilly nights. The patio is the perfect place to take a date. They have these really cool box lights that provide enough light to see what's going on, but dim enough to still be very romantic.

The cocktails are amazing. They have a few signature ones and some favorites, too. Seriously, if you like cocktails, try a few of theirs out. I highly recommend the Inti (it has chocolate bitters) and the Boca Del Toro. They also have kalimatxos and house made sangria, which is a bit less sweeter than the average sangria. It is refreshing and I could drink many many of glasses on a sunny Seattle afternoon, I am sure.

I think the idea is to have Spanish tapas as a base, but use Northwest flavors and staples. Pintxo pulls it off well. The food menu changes quite often, as everything is extremely fresh. Some of my favs are the morcilla, steak & egg sandwich, the quail and stuffed squid (I think it was stuffed with oranges and prosciutto.) Because the menu changes so often, try to order the specials because you might not have the chance again.

A tip - they also have a good happy hour and if you follow them on Facebook/Twitter they seem to do specials where they announce an extended happy hour.
