Beyond Delicious! – (As in Google)
During the summer, I ran across this pizzeria and had the MOST DELICIOUS slice of pizza ever. It was pretty much a taste bud explosion. Once you have a slice there, every other slice falls short. Using TV as a point of reference, it’s like the burger that Marshall spent years looking for in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother; yeah, it’s that good.
Note: Don’t go in there expecting an extravagant Italian menu, or a large seating area; it’s an old fashion cozy pizza shop-they make pizza and it kicks ass. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, skip the overachieving-Italian-café-diner-pizzeria restaurants that surround it and grab a slice.
Pizza – Great staff and ingredients for the pizza. It will get better when they add their back rooms and bar...good luck Bobby.
Citysearch Editorial Profile – This confusingly named pizzeria is the just-opened sibling to the original Carroll Garden location, and serves pies and slices of its deeply charred, medium crust four-cheese pizzas, and not much else.
